Oh Geez….just purchased these with Cartheel 5% off last night (literally, at 10:30pm) and no printable coupon….but I’m there often enough to return & purchase again to save some money!

  2. Carrie

Awesome! Thanks for sharing! All three kiddos need socks and panties for school, AND it’s the last day of tax free weekend for us today! 🙂

    • Happymama

What states do the no-sales tax weekend?

  3. Evan

    Thxs
Will save for weekend & shop tax free!

  4. Karen

I hope the Hanes socks have improved . I bought one of these value packs a couple years ago and the seams were so bothersome to my kid I ended up tossing them before getting any real use out if them.

Now if some MQ will show up on coupons.com that would make it an even better deal.

    • Elaine

Select Mead notebooks at Target have .75 off Hanes.

      • Kristen

Yep I’ve got some I found in the notebooks I bought!

    • maria

at my local target there are $1 off peeli coupons on most hanes products

  6. Laura

How do I get these mailers target sends out? I am a huge target shopper but never get any of there mailers

    • Lisa

Unfortunately it’s random who gets which mailers. 🙁 Having a Target red card doesn’t help/hinder either.

  7. Suzanwoo

I’m wondering if WalMart is still cheaper, even with the cartwheel and red card??? Does anyone know, I’m trying to get everything together for tax free weekend.
    Thanks

Boys hanes boxer briefs (8pk) $9.48 at walmart. Socks (13pk) $6.88. girls 12pk undies are $6.48 and socks (13pk) $6.88. HTH

      • Suzanwoo

Thanks for the info, think I will be shopping at Walmart this tax free weekend.

    • Jennifer B.

Target should price match if it is the same item in Walmart’s ad.

Bought my 8 yr old son the black hanes socks he has a thing about black socks and they are the most horrible socks he has ever had they are very thin and they rip really easy with all the coupons and stuff at kohls i would recommend the socks that are black with different colors on the bottom very good material dont know the name cuz he got them for his bday lol weird bday present but he loves his black socks

  9. Rachel

Newbie Couponer here…What is the Tax Free Weekend a few have mentioned? 😃

    • mel

Lots of states have a weekend where they don’t have to pay state sales tax. it’s usually the 1st or 2nd wkend in Aug.

      • Rachel

Ahhh…I see…not so sure I do here in Cali. Thanks so much!

Hanes used to be Hubby number 1 pick for undies and socks, but the quality has certainly changed in recent years.

  11. Tanzania

At Walmart the Fruit of the Loom are more reasonable. I’m buying for 6 kids, this brand hasn’t disappointed us yet, buy yearly on tax free weekend.

  12. Jenny

I accidentally bought hanes undershirts and they work too! (You get 10% cartwheel $1/1 coupon works)

    • Jenny

My 5 3 pack of boys T-shirts were $6.49 on sale = $4.94 after coupons!

      • Tanzania

The boys Fruit of the Loom 8 pack is $5.96. The boys Hanes 8 pack is $6.48.

  13. Carm

The hanes sock’s quality is terrible now. I bought a pack awhile ago and they ripped in the back near the heel of the sock within a couple uses.

I am new to hip2save and couponing. I am confused about this deal however I really want to take advantage of it. Can someone break it all down in very simple vocab. Couponing is a new language im trying to comprehend. Thanks

    • MommySpendsLess

The store coupon is a printable, paper coupon. Cartwheel is a phone app that let’s you select offers and add them to your account. The app has a barcode the cashier can scan directly from your phone.

    • Jennifer B.

If you click on Collin’s blue underlined links, it will take you where you need to be to get what is listed.

Most of these are using a Target store coupon (you would print that from the coupon portion of their website, and a Cartwheel discount. You have to create a Cartwheel account (free) and then, as stated above, you can download the app and utilize the barcode, or if you don’t have a smartphone, you can actually print out a page that will have a barcode. After you’ve loaded the offers you want on Cartwheel, they will automatically deduct when the cashier scans your code. Present the Cartwheel after all other coupons (or most cashiers know to scan it last).

Just wanted to chime in on the Hanes quality on socks…Booo! They are terrible, at least men’s. They immediately got super stretched out after washing and the elastic got super bunched at the ankle:( still am buying undershirts and underwear and find those to be okay…but definitely avoid the socks, IMO! I love those adias brand athlete socks at Costco for my hubby, great quality.

  16. Jill

Got two of the underwear deals for $5.08 each- including tax and using my red card to get the extra 5%. As much as kids grow this is a good deal for right now. So 20 pairs of underwear for $10.16.

  17. Keri

They wouldn’t let me use the coupon because they said underwear is not apparel. Just left them then.

    • Jennifer B.

I just used both the Target coupon and Cartwheel tonight without problem.
