Starbucks: Treat Receipt Reminder (Ends Tomorrow!)
Don’t forget! Through tomorrow, August 17th only, make any Starbucks purchase before 2PM and then enjoy any Grande 16 oz cold beverage for just $2 (plus tax) after 2PM the same day at participating stores in the U.S. and Canada. Just remember to show them your receipt when you return.

PLEASE everyone keep in mind that this usually only applies to corporately owned Starbucks stores and NOT always licensed or cafe stores (ones that are inside grocery stores, airports, Barnes & Noble, etc). If you want to ensure that you will get a treat receipt at a participating Starbucks, go to a standalone location.

If I got in before 2pm to redeem my free drink reward ( free drink w/ever 12 stars for gold members) will I be able to get the $2 drink later in the day ?
Yes; but tell the cashier you want your receipt. Sometimes they trash receipts when you use a reward. I always ask for my receipt since I have found several times the cashier forgot I was using a reward and charged my acct.
Our local Starbucks within Target gives / honors treat receipts. HTH.
