I love my Dyson. I happened to score mine for only $25 at a yard sale! The lady thought it was broken. Lol. I now wouldn’t use any other. Worth the money!!

      That. Is. Awesome!

I bought a Dyson and it was the WORST vacuum ever! After one week it stopped working. I had to return it to the manufacture and wait for a new one. Took about 2 weeks. Then that one broke to in about 2 weeks. Mind you my house is not that dirty and yes I know how to operate a vacuum. LOL! So I returned that on and in 2 weeks got a new one mailed to me. That one actually lasted for about 4 weeks before it stopped working. I put it to the side of the road and counted my losses. Will never buy from them again, but I do commend them on replacing the broken ones. I now have a Panasonic and it is the best!

I have Dyson for 5 years and it’s still working strong. Had problem with brush , called customer service, took vacuum to service and got it back ( no charge to me). Since than working awesome. Great customer service and good vacuum. Panasonic is good one to.

I’ve had mine for 2 years. I love it! Never had any problems. Also own a shark for a rental problem and while it’s a good vacuum for the money, nothing compares to my dyson! Highly recommend.

That’s crazy! My mom has had hers for 10 years and it’s still going strong and she vacuums every day. Maybe they don’t make them like they used to.

    • Cailla

Jenny You must have the worst luck ever with your Dyson’s and to go through 3 in a space of weeks!!! Sorry i have to ask… did you empty the canister? Ha Ha Ha
I have had mine for years and not had a problem once in the 8 years and 5 years (i purchased one for my mom) and love it!!!

    • Laura

I had mine 10-1/2 yrs with a dog and 3 cats. Absolutely the best vacuum EVER made! Only replaced it because it took a tumble down the stairs and finally broke!

Is this is the best price???? I would like to buy one

    • Erin

No. I bought the $500 Animal for around $300 five or six years ago from Target. I have to say I’m not sure it was worth it. Doesn’t seem all that amazing to me.

Sams Club black friday deal on Dyson was great last year… watch for that again if you can wait.

    • Nelly

Best price is @ costco online $299

I bought a refurbished Animal a couple years ago off Amazon for $300 and it’s still going strong. But if anyone reallllllly wants one, spring for it! I absolutely hate spending money, but my Dyson is sooooo worth what I spent for it. I used to clean houses so I’ve used probably 30 different vacuums and Dysons are by far the best!

We bought a refurb DC40 on Woot.com for around $185.00 around 2 years ago. We’ve had no problems at all with it (We have 2 Golden Retrievers and 4 cats!), except about a month ago when the machine kept turning on and off while operating. I did a little bit of research, ordered a $5 part on Amazon, and repaired it myself. It’s back in tip top shape. 😀

I think the best price is at kohls during one of their 30% off coupons and kohls cash promos.

My Dyson was totally worth it. I got a great deal from Kohls about 4 years ago. Sale, power hours extra sale, coupon, Kohls cash. Something like that. Have never had a problem. Went through 3 cheaper vacuums in 5 years so decided it was worth it. They have a 5 year warranty I believe.

    • visitor3

Customer service replaced parts on mine free within the warranty period. Still going. Almost 8 yrs now.

    • Handu

Roughly how much did you pay after all discounts? and what is the model number? Thanks..

I just received an email from Bed Bath & Beyond. They have the Dyson vacuums on sale… The Dyson DC40 Origin Upright Vacuum is on sale for $299.99 plus I believe you can use the 20% off coupon making it $239.99! Kohl’s has the same vacuum for $449.99. Great deal at BB&B!!!!! When my Shark gives out, this is what I will be buying!

I bought my first Dyson about 10 years ago and it is still the best vacuum I have ever owned. We now have 3 others including the cordless version. I have recommended Dyson to many of my family members and they love them too. Pricey but worth it!

  10. Nelly

The Dyson dc65 is $299 at Costco
