Hi, I’m new to wags couponing. What does 5000 rewards points mean? Do I use the five dollars off on this purchase or a future one?

    • Brooke

Hi, Anna! The points are for a future purchase. Collin has a “Walgreens 101” section that explains the rewards points system.

I did this deal yesterday. I found 2 bottles on clearance – one shampoo and
one conditioner. I asked the cosmetics cashier if she had coupons, and
she had two $3 off coupons. So I wound up paying $2.25 out of pocket, and
got $30’s worth of product, plus 10,000 reward points!

Are rewards points subject to change per store? I just tried this and I didn’t get any and the store manager had no idea what I was taking about

Anna, I did it this morning and it worked fine. It gave me 5,000 points. I made sure I did not purchase travel size items.

Did you sign up for a Balance Reward account and have them scan your card? Hi to another Anna!

Ask your cashier at the counter for the $3 off Nexxus coupon, too. I have some left at my store. You can get the humectress conditioner tube for around $9 or so after that coupon and get $5 in points back…good deal.

I went to 4 walgreens& all gone-they were on clearance last week & all the diplays were down.

  6. gg

BUT got some last week on clearnce & love it!!!!!!!

These were on clearance at my Walgreens for less than 5. So it was actually a money maker for me. But they were out of coupons which would have made it even sweeter

Went to walgreens this morning. Got 2 shampoos and a conditioner for 3.79 each and another conditioner for 4.29. Got a styling cream for 4.29 too. 25,030 Pts (got tums too) and the shampoo smells fantastic. Very excited.
