Just an FYI if anyone’s planning to buy this SPECIALLY FOR BOYS.
I had the potty similar to the cars one before without the step stool for my boys. I do NOT like it cos the ‘guard’ part in the front to supposedly prevent them from peeing all over the place, is USELESS. It’s not high enough to block boys from ‘shooting out’ when they go. It’ll probably be okay for girls since they go in a different way.
Same issue with the gaurd piece it actually made the urine go everywhere. I just removed it which is easy to do since it doesn’t come attached and it just kind of hooks on. We just taught the boys to “point down”. These seats come apart into two pieces and the padded part is completely sealed so cleaning them is really easy.
My son is 2 and a half and he is going on day 5 of being completely potty trained. We love this seat. The guard piece works perfectly for him and it’s very easy to clean.
