If you’re unfamiliar with Carter’s Clothing, it runs a bit small! My son is 5 and I usually buy 5/6 for him. 5/6 in Carter’s didn’t fit him, he’d need 7/8. Pay attention to the sizing chart.
I actually think carter’s clothing runs great! Both of my kids have always worn the same size as they were age in carter’s and Oshkosh. We always had problems with other brands such as children’s place, Walmart, etc not fiting
I agree..Carter’s is actually one of the only brand besides Gymboree that runs true to size for my baby as well
Hmm, interesting. Well, my son is a bit tall, so maybe that’s why.
I agree with you. My son is almost 2 and he wears their size 3.
I agree my daughter wears a “comfortable” 2T and we need a 3T at Carters. Probably just depends on how you like clothes to fit but we definitely size up!
Carters is always right on for my kids while Gymboree runs large.
2.5% back from ebates, too.
The codes don’t usually work on Doorbusters either – just an FYI
Yes, just tried on the PJ’s and it did not work.
Codes did not work on doorbuster or clearance. I placed my order earlier.
I returned something in store and have a little over $20 on a gift card. Trying to decide between placing an order now or waiting to see how their black Friday/ cyber Monday online deals will be
I agree with Isabelle, Carter runs small. Gymboree runs big.
The quality has changed in the last few years. With my daughter (now 4) we exclusively dressed in Carter’s. Washed and washed everything over and over and everything held size and shape. With my son, I am noticing fabrics are thinned in onesies and clothes shrink even in low heat settings. Makes me wish I kept more of her unisex clothes for use with my son.
And the fuzzy Jammies quality is terrible. They changed the fabric. Now they tend to ball up. So disappointing. Why change a great thing?!
I guess it all depends on how your child is built. I think Carter’s runs true to size while Gymboree runs small.
I agree , I’m so disappointed Carter’s is not the quality it used to be. Designs are “printed” on the fabric with plastic rather than woven in like they used to be. My newborn was wearing a navy blue dress only a few times and it already looks old.
