I’m not completely sure but everytime I do buy something and sign into my PayPal I always switch the payment method to my credit card on file through PayPal.
it is better to make purchase with paypal since you can file a claim if you dont get what you paid for but i wouldnt buy discounted cards on ebay

i wouldnt buy discounted cards on ebay. people steal paypal accounts and buy giftcards with the stolen money and get it into their account this way. my hub sells on ebay and is constantly reporting stolen paypal accounts

Please buy gift cards on eBay with caution. Buy only from a highly rated seller as they can at times be stolen or fake cards. Check the actual balance upon arrival. We’ve bought cards before that were stolen unbeknownst to us.

Be sure to check your balance when you receive your card, mine was $0. I called GiftCardMall and the card was NOT activated. They are putting in a request and it takes up to 2 hours, so hopefully they will get it figured out.
