Wow, the Dollar Tree has all this! That’s awesome!!!

  2. Mary

I use the $1.50 off 3 Bounty paper towels and get them for 50 cents a roll.

  3. Ashley

wow, your Dollar store has better stuff than mine!

I guess I’m not alone then. 🙂 I tried to use coupons out our local DT yesterday. I had some from the paper and some printed from coupons.com NONE would scan. I asked the cashier if they took coupons and she said “If they’ll scan, we take them.” So I asked “Do any of them ever scan?” Her answer was a point blank “Nope.” She said she’s been working there a few weeks and has never had a single coupon be accepted by the machine and they aren’t allowed to key them in. I hope others have better luck with coupons at their DT. Every time I think about that conversation, I laugh out loud.

I had the exact same conversation and expereince at our local Dollar Tree stores here in Upstate NY. THe manager told me that he has never had a single coupon scan so has never taken a single coupon. They were nice about it but clearly the policy only applie to some stores. None of which are in my area.

I guess I’m one of lucky one. My Dollar Tree also doesn’t scan any of coupons. However, they manually put them in after carefully read coupons to make sure I have right items. They said register never scan any coupons for some reason but they accepts coupons.

  5. Rob

I didn’t think dollar tree could take coupons!

anyone have luck with the essie nail stickers? I’ve tried two different designs and neither will stay put.

    • gaby

Ive had one on since a week ago.

    • kathy

The key to making them stay on longer is to prep your nails really good. Buff and clean your nails of oils. Like painting your wall or furniture, you need a good base for product to adhere. I’ve had my essie nail stickers on for over a wk now.

    • Megan

I didn’t really prep my nails and the Essie nail sticks stayed on for five days. They came off really easy too. I was impressed, given they were a dollar and I’m a librarian who is constantly moving books, DVDs, etc.

I wish our local dollar tree carried stuff like this. 🙂 it’s just full of generic brand items.

  8. maflies1

Thanks for telling me about their policy. Mine is wonderful with lovely products and will take coupons, but said only 4 per trip. So I’ll just nicely take my copy of policy along next time and share with them b4 I check out. Been going there a long time.

  9. Coupon Savings

your dollar store is amazing if it carries all this stuff mine doesn’t have non of these items and hardly ever carries name brand

  10. Atilano

My dollar tree had 3-packs of ivory (.25/1 coupon) and Werther’s originals hard candy ($1/2 coupon)

  11. Kim

My local Dollar Tree will only accept the coupon if the picture on coupon is identical to the item being purchased. Makes it hard to coupon there. 🙁

  12. Christine

I was able to find the Gain fabric softener sheets at one Dollar tree, I am so glad I called around to see who had them, we have several of these stores in my area but they were all saying that they only get things like this on special occasions it’s not something they normally carry, I guess some stores have a better selection than others and I used the $1.50/2 coupon and it scanned correctly.
