My almost 3 year old has really enjoyed the activities in this kit. I highly recommend it. You’ll get a lot of craft time out of all of the activities. Well worth $6.

Thanks so much for sharing…happy to hear that! 🙂

  2. Sarah

Agreed. We got it last year. My 4 yr old loved it!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Awesome! 🙂

  3. tracy

really cool – thank you Retta and Sarah for the recommendations! just ordered it and did “no rush shipping” so I also got $1 towards a future book order. Whoo hoo!

Off topic— but i have a 40 off 100 super cash or what ever is called for Old Navy. I think it expires tonight. If somebody wants it you can email me at c.rodriguez_2010 @ yahoo.com. I dont have any money to spend right now so if someone can use it you are welcome to it. Everyone have a good nite!

    • Cinthia

      – old navy code gone

  5. Lori

I’m sorry this is the wrong place to ask? Are you able to get a free trial of Prime? Does it last for 3 months? Thanks.

  6. Tami

I’m a prime member and can’t figure out where to do delayed shipping to get 1.00 towards a book. Can anyone help?

    • Katie

Click on free 2 day shipping button when doing final review of your order and a list will pop up with the choice of No Rush shipping with $1 credit

    • Beth

When you’re checking out and view your shipping options you should see 2 day free ship, 5-7 day free ship and/or no rush shipping ($1 book credit) it’s in the confirmation page before you order.

    • Katie

I now see that it’s being sold by a 3rd party that isn’t fulfilled by Amazon, so there aren’t any other shipping options than free economy

  7. YG

Bought 4 for Christmas presents! Thanks!

Was anybody else taxed?! This is the first time I’m being taxed on an amazon purchase:(

    • Jenny

I was taxed, too! First time for me, as well. Boo…

Anyone know if these scissors work for lefties?!? I want to get this set, but even at $6, it’s not worth the frustration and disappointment for my daughter if the scissors aren’t leftie “compatible”! Thanks in advance!

    • Erin

In the comments they said they are not hand-specific and worked fine for an ambidextrous child who was using them on both hands.

    • Jenny

We don’t have this exact set. Ours are from the Dollar Tree but they look just like these. My son could not use them with his left hand.

    • Kate

We have this set. The cutting projects are really cute, and worth it, but the scissors are terrible. We threw them out and just used rounded tip Fiskars.

    • MommySpendsLess

My daughter is a leftie too and after some research I found out that there really isn’t such a thing as “ambidextrous” scissors. In standard (right-handed) scissors the blades are positioned in such a way that the cutting edges are pushed sideways towards each other in addition to closing the triangular shaped gap (I hope that explanation makes some sense). When a left-handed person uses right-handed scissors they can close the gap but the cutting edges are actually being pushed apart and that is why the paper tends to fold rather than cut cleanly. For true left-handed scissors the blades need to be reversed. “Ambidextrous” scissors just refers to the size/shape of the finger holes. Try: https://www.leftyslefthanded.com/ No affiliation, we just bought my daughter some scissors from their Orlando, FL kiosk and they seem to work well for her.

    Back to $10.99 🙁

  11. Bri

I just got one for $6. Says only 17 (now 16) left. Also that they’re getting more. No tax applied either. Thanks 😃

  12. Julia

$10.99 but it says theres 3 left. hate it when they do that.
