BabiesRUs: Baby’s First Christmas Event in November (Crafts, Prizes, Storytime & More)
Calling all you parents who had a baby at some point in 2014! Head over to your local BabiesRUs on the specified date (see below) to celebrate your baby’s first Christmas! As part of the festivities, there will be storytime, crafts, and prizes! I would suggest calling your local BabiesRUs ahead of time to verify that they are participating in the festivities.
Head to BabiesRUs on the day that corresponds with your baby’s birth month….

Lucky you. We got a sample pack of wipes and one small bottle of ready to feed formula. Didn’t get any coupons.
How strict do you think they will be about the birth month corresponding with the correct date? My friend and I were planning on going together but my baby was born in June and her’s was born in August. 🙁
How would they know? Just say they were both born in June

our halloween one was really awkward. we painted their hands and did prints on a paper bag. then the paint got over everything. lol what fun!! Ill go tomorrow though. dd2 was born in March. THe text didnt say anything about the months though,.
Went last year and it was ok. I suggest not showing up right when it starts, i sat around for an hour with a couple other people. I got the same things as those that showed up later (right before the drawing). All i got was a yogurt sample, small one serving pack of rice cereal, and a place mat. The “craft” was kind of lame.
I will say the prizes were not as enticing last year 🙂 i would show just for the chance! I think they had a few onsies last year…yeah, it wasn’t worth my hour.
We plan on going. I plan to make the most of it and purchase a few items to get the free bottle and the free cute Christmas diapers. Knock out a shopping trip AND the opportunity for free items? Yes please!

Yea I contacted corporate and they never got back to me. I found it in my wallet a few weeks ago and contacted them again. They gave me a $10 online code to use.
The cards they gave out last year cannot be used right away and has an expiration date. It takes about a couple of hours before it becomes usable/ activated. Maybe you tried using it right away?
No I didn’t use it right away. About 2 weeks had passed.

One babies r us I went to last year was not strict at all. You don’t even have to bring your kid with you and they said you can come every week. They gave $10 giftcard for the people who came on time. If you come after like 15 mins, they won’t give you the gc anymore but you can still partake of the samples (if there are still any left) and they will let you in on the raffle.
I went there today between 10 and 11 am .. My baby got a prize from lucky draw.. She got Huggies diapers size1 …
I went there with my 2 kids. I decided to leave my 4 month old. There were no samples except for a ready to use formula (Gerber) which they give out ONLY if they see you with an infant. I didn’t bother asking for one since my baby doesn’t drink that anyway and I don’t want to explain too that I have a 4-month old at home just to get one.. no coupons, no storytelling. Just a craft of painting a reindeer paper ornament. They put out 2 prizes for raffle. 1 box of diapers and a dapple laundry detergent. Good thing I got picked and won the dapple. There were like only 6 participants in my store. Had I not won, it would have been a total waste of time and gas. Not as good as last year’s event where you get a $10 gc. I wouldn’t attend just for the chance on the raffle.
