The Body Shop: Get 4 Weeks of FREE Products In-Store (with Cactus Heart Scrub Purchase)
Through Sunday, November 16th (or while supplies last!), purchase a Cactus Heart Scrub at your local The Body Shop store (I am not sure of the cost at this time, but last year they were $5) and you’ll snag a coupon booklet valid for 4 Weeks of FREE Products (yet to be announced). For more information, head here.
(Thanks, Dil!)
my local store has them for $5 and the free product is with a purchase only, and on specific days once a week for 4 weeks, but she said you could buy a $2 hand sanitizer
I was told the same thing, this year’s free item each week will require an additional purchase, but can be anything in the store.
Do you know what the products are?
First week is 200ml Seasonal Body Butter, second week is 10ml Home Fragrance Oil, third week is 250ml Body Lotion, fourth week is 250ml Shower Gel or Cream
I also read somewhere, the value of the items are as follow $20, $6, $12 and $8 based on Migdalia’s list.
Thats correct. Each item is a full size product.I plan on just getting a $2 sanitizer each week.Plus I believe you can still use the LYB discount(but I could be wrong).Either way it is still a great promo and its for charity so why not?
So is this a deal or no
I would think it would be, but only if you like their products and it is super convenient to stop by the store. If it were a hassle in any way, I personally would pass.
we did this last year and used the “freebies” as stocking stuffers – too bad you have to make an additional purchase to get the “free” item this year
the gingerbread body butter is amazing and smells delicious
I’m really disappointed The Body Shop has changed some of the terms of their offers … Like this one requiring a purchase in order to receive your FREE item and also, the change to the Groupon Offer being non-combinable with other in-store offers (and LYB Card). That said, there are still great deals to be made and I personally find their products superior in quality to others. But, it is a bummer nonetheless.
Looking for some opinions, is this a good deal or a great deal. If you buy the sponge for $5.00 and 4 hand sanitizers for $2.00 a piece in the month. Your total would be $13.00 and you would get $40.00 worth of free products. Is this a deal or could you have used coupons to buy the free items cheaper than regular price? And also what is the LYB discount? Thank you in advance for the comments.
LYB – love your body. You pay $10 for a year’s membership and it gives you a 10% discount each time you shop, plus a free birthday gift, and each time you earn 4 pts you get $15 off your total (8 pts and you get $25 off your total).
I think we actually get $59 worth for the $13…. The “free” items total $46 plus the $5 for the cactus and $8 on hand sanitizers.
Ha! Mindy … You and I were thinking along the same lines. You just beat me to it. Definitely a great value! 🙂
Alea covered the Love Your Body Card … But, I personally think this is a GREAT deal. Your (potential) total out of pocket would be only $13.00 for $59.00 worth of product or 78% OFF!!!!! ($59 = $13 OOP + $46 FREE). Definitely better than a typical 40% Off Sale or a Buy 3/Get 3 Free. … However, you do have to visit the store each week during the designated time and make a purchase. (I’m personally wondering if the less expensive items might be out of stock too? Although there are other things slightly higher. And the deal would still be great! But, I’d try your best to get to the store as early as possible to insure a less expensive item and the free item you want is available.)
Thank you all for the replies and comments. One last thing do they ever run out of the free items?
Glad to help Jessica! 🙂 This is the first time I’ll actually be doing this promotion … But, since the free item you’ll be redeeming is for a standard/regular item all stores carry all the time I can’t imagine them running out. Maybe a certain scent might run out, but there are lots of options. Hope that helps.
Great! Thanks again for the help. I will pick one up tomorrow when I go to the mall.
