*HOT* 10% Off Target Gift Cards In-Store and Online (November 28th 6AM-Noon)
Attention Target shoppers! Target just released a sneak peek of the Target Black Friday ad here – stay tuned for the full write-up shortly! In the meantime, mark your calendars for Friday, November 28th from 6AM – Noon where you’ll be able to snag 10% off Target Gift Cards both in-store and online – up to $300 in Target gift card purchases per household! Keep in mind that any Target gift cards purchased during this 6-hour period may be redeemed beginning Saturday, November 29th. Sweet!!
….I wonder if I can use Target gift cards to purchase Target gift cards. It’ll be a painless way to add some value to them!!
That is exactly what I was going to ask too!!! :] I’m dying to know … Okay, not dying, just very, very curious.
You can’t redeem the gift card you buy Friday, until Saturday. So that wouldn’t work.
I think she means if you have an existing gift card, can you buy the 10% off ones using it instead of cash/credit.
No you can’t do that. Read the find print on the gift cards… when you buy a gift card it’s only cash or debt/credit card payment.
I used gift cards to buy 4 of the pez dispenser holiday gift cards loaded with $5 each that Collin posted about a few weeks ago with no issues so if you have existing gift cards I would think it should work.
Good idea Karen. I will be taking full advantage of this deal. I wonder how they will track $300 per household?
Buying online in one transaction & having them shipped to one household address.
but what about in store?
I think in-store purchases will probably be just on-your-honor.
I can’t wait to buy some gift cards and use them for our shopping next time!
I don’t know Targets exact policy, but I have never met a store where you could buy a store giftcard with a store giftcard.
I’ve done it at Target before. Especially when I’ve had a bunch of the free $5 gift cards from purchasing certain items. They have had no problem with me picking out a gift card and then adding them all to that one! 🙂
Yep. I buy Target gift cards at Kroger for fuel points/cash back and then go to Target to buy smaller gift cards with the gift card purchased from Kroger. I wonder if this will work too. Could get $270 at Kroger and get fuel points + 6% off (Amex), but $300 Target gift card, use it to buy Disney gift cards for spring brea.
Disney giftcards bought at retailers other than Disney website can NOT be used at Disney Parks – check the fine print on this one – my friend learned the hard way.
I used them…
Jenn, is that a new rule?? I used the Target ones at Disney last year.
I’m not understanding…then where would u use them?
Just check with Disney directly to be sure 100%. I know Park tickets were one of the issues she ran into. She said Disney told her the Disney cards sold at retailers have some limitations. She was told she had to purchase at a Disney store or directly through Disney. Also, there is a difference between Disney store cards & just Disney cards. This has been within the last couple of months. She spoke to managers & all.
I just paid for my Disney cruise that I took in September & our day at Animal Kingdom with gift cards bought at Target. You have to make sure that they are the ones that say Store, Food, Parks, Cruise. Not a Disney store gift card.
This past August I used the Disney gift cards I bought at Target to pay for park tickets at Disney World. I bought the gift card in Virginia and used it in Florida.
I usually do that to!
Purchasing online is likely tracked through your Redcard account or email. I’d bet you can get more than one with multiple email accounts….even if they’re shipped to the same address.
Will you save an additional 5% if you use your target red card?
I would bet that you cannot save the %5 by using a target red card but not sure about Targets policy on this
I’m wondering if I can buy the discounted Target gift card then use that Target gift card at a later date to purchase gift cards for another brand like iTunes? For example, spend $90 to get a $100 Target gift card (w/10% off) then buying a $100 iTunes gift card with the Target gift card. Any ideas if that will work? Thanks in advance!
Don’t think so, but they will also have a buy an iTunes giftcard get one 30% off on Black Friday
Thanks for your reply Caitlin!
I think you can, because I have used a target gift card in the past to purchase restaurant gift cards that they sell in store. I wouldn’t think these gift cards would be “tagged” in any way to prevent you from purchasing certain items with them.
That’s what I’m hoping for. Thanks Jennifer!
A bit of a silly question but I could not find the answer on the website. I have never used a gift card at target.
Can I basically just use it to buy groceries? For example $40 each time or similar? Is it valid on everything including dairy or are some things off limits? You can still use cartwheel?
Yes you can use cartwheel with a gift card and buy anything in the store.
Thank you. 🙂
Dumb question, but is the 6:00am to noon in every time zone? 🙂
Lol Black Friday times always go by local time zones. So yes its local time.
Will I get an additional 5% off if I use red card??
The gift card is subtracted from the total and the remaining gets the 5% off for your redcard purchase. So if you aren’t giving the gift cards as gifts, this offer is just saving 4 percent on top of the 5% you would already be getting if your whole balance was charged. Still an extra savings so not complaining!
I mean 5 % on top of the 5%!
Where on the ad does it say save 10% off target gift cards? I only see it say save 5% additionally by using Target Red Card.
Can you use the target red card to save 5% on the target gift card? and can you buy lets say a amazon gift card in store with a target gift card?
wow the bug ad on this website has the answer to my first question… *face palm* lol
Too Cute!
I don’t see why you could not save 5 percent on it by purchasing it with a red card. Red card had absolutely no exceptions I know of. ..
You can use the disney gift cards purchased at Target at any Disney property. I used $3000 of them to pay for a cruise this past February and used $1000 at Disneyland last August and $500 at DisneyWorld this past May- I used them for food, gift shops, park tickets, etc.
From my experience, I was told that I could not use a Target Gift Card to purchase a Target Gift Card, but I you could use a Target Gift Card to purchase other retailer gift card.
I think that you can only use it to pay for another type of gift card. I’ve used my little $5 & $10 cards you get with buying an item towards purchasing the Disney gift cards, but never to buy more Target gift cards. I’d try it first just to see.
