  With this you can only play games that you pay to download or stream. You cannot just put in a game cd. The Lego game voucher you would download once you hook up the Playstation TV and input the voucher code to get it for free.

  You can also link it to a PS4 if you have one on another TV on the same internet connection. So essentially, you turn on the PS4 in the den with your PS4 game disk, and then you can then turn on the Playstation TV in the living room to play the game.

  I would also note, it is really new and there are complaints of lag when streaming from a PS4. Too early to say if it’s just a bug that they will work out or the limitations of the hardware. Playstation is usually good about fixing these things though.

  If you planned on getting the Playstation TV, this is a really good deal. The memory cards are usually $25-30 and the controller another $40, plus the game.
