Even with no coupons, it’s still nice to be able to snag a $10 GC just for buying food.

    • nicolegammeter

      Yep! 🙂

  2. Rona

    nice! I’m in!

    • nicolegammeter

  4. jaimee

Do you know if you can use it on bagged starbucks coffee? i am not sure if starbucks cafe would mean all starbucks coffee. thanks!

    • jac

I would expect you to be able to buy any brand bagged coffee in the grocery aisle, including starbucks. I think starbucks cafe refers to a purchase at the in-store starbucks register.

  5. KESIA

Do you have to spend $50 AFTER the coupons to qualify for the gift card? Or is it before coupons? Thanks for this!

    • broadway96

usually it will pop up on their screen before any coupons are scanned.

  6. sarahgrecula

You’re the best Colin! I love being able to prep for a grocery deal.

    • nicolegammeter

      So glad to help! 🙂

  7. Krissy

I purchase a bulk of my groceries from Target because I can save an extra 5% using my RED card. I’m wondering if I broke my order into 2 seperate transactions if they would allow that and recieve 2- $10 GC in return? Any thoughts?

    • Jsturner1

I did that last time they have a good deal and it worked fine.

  8. Leslie

Because my daughter is celiac, it’s hard to find coupons for food. They exist, but they’re hard to come by. $10 gc (to go towards gifts) does make a difference!

    • nicolegammeter

      It’s an awesome deal! 🙂

  9. Casey

I got a mailer last night with a $10 off $150 purchase! I was so excited lol

    • nicolegammeter

      😀

  10. LG

Couldn’t print, it says already printed, even though that’s not the case! Bummer.

  11. Julia Logs

Anyone else having difficulty finding the Betty Crocker coupons?

  12. Becca

Are the Nutri-Grain bars going to work since nutrition shakes/bars are excluded?

    • AR

They are excluding the stuff found in the nutrition aisle (like clif, EAS, etc) not the breakfast bars in the grocery section.

  13. Cathy

If I had a coupon for a FREE soup (ARV $.3.29) and bought 3, would the total go towards the $50? So 3x$3.29=$9.87, so I would need $40.13 to get to the point where the gift card would trigger? That is how I see it, and am hoping! Thanks for the scenarios.

    • Kelly

      Absolutely!

  14. TM

Target in my area will scan MFG coupon first, next Target coupon then Promotion coupon last, Will it effect the $10 GC with $50 purchased?

    • paula

I would hand them the Target coupon first by itself and then hand them your manufacturer coupons after they have scanned the Target coupon, that is how I do it and have had no problem.

  15. samanthawitchuk

got my q’s ready gonna try this

  16. mel

Can’t wait for Sunday! I have my scenario all planned out. (with a few extra items listed just in case!)

    • Rose

Hey mel can u please share ur scenario?

      • mel

Sure! This list is based on stuff we need/use –

        4 Kellogg’s Special K Bars $10 (use 2 $1/2 IPs)
2 Barilla Blue Box Pasta (1.29 each?)& 1 Barilla Sauce ($1.99?) (use $.75/2 Barilla Pasta Target IP, .75/1 Barilla Sauce IP & $1 off wyb both Barilla Pasta & Sauce)
        2 Marie Callendar’s Pies $4.99 each (use 2 $1/1 IPs and 10% CW)
2 Lipton Tea Bags ($2.??not sure on price) (use $3/2 IP)
8 Del Monte Canned Veggies, .59 each (use 2 .50/4 coupons that were in a mag subscription my mom & I get, and 10% CW)
2 Way Better Snacks, 2/$5 (use $1/2 IP)
        2 Swiss Simple Cocoa $1.16 (use 2 .40 IP, 10% CW)
2 Hidden Valley Ranch Dip Mixes, $1.49 each (use .50/2 Target IP)
1 Harvest Snaps Peas $1.79 (use .50 IP)
1 Nakano Rice Vineagar $1.99 (use $1 IP)
        1 MP Gallon Milk ($4.xx!!)
2 MP Dozen Eggs $3 (use $1.50 off $7 MP Purchase)
1 Horizon Mac & Cheese $3? (Have Free Product coupon)

Total should be around $57 (The reason I went over is b/c of the MP coupon, thresholds must be met individually at my store to use it with the $10/$50 GC offer)
Less $18.80 in Target/Manuf coupons, and whatever discount applies from CW.

I have a $5 GC and use my Redcard to pay the difference (which will give another 5% off!)

Total should be about $30+ tax and I’ll get $10 GC w/coupon and $5 GC w/Kellogg’s Promo.

Then I have the $5 Kellogg’s Special K Saving Star off that I will submit (I am $8 away), .25 back on Milk & .25 back on Eggs through Jingit, .75 back on Barilla Sauce, .25 back on Milk & .25 back on Eggs through Ibotta, for a total of $6.75 back!

Now this is all subject to change once I get in the store!! I’m not sure if my Target sells the Horizon Mac & Cheese, so I may have to do some swapping if so.

        • Rose

Hey Mel thank u sooo much for the scenario u explained it very nicely very helpful thank u once again:)

  17. Michelle

    Awesome, thanks for sharing!!

  18. mrsgrobecker

My pie & cool whip coupon printed saying “redeemable at walmart”, will it still work?

    • mel

Yes. Per Target’s updated coupon policy, they explain they will accept manuf coupons that have that wording.

  19. Susan

Thanks so much for this , I will be doing it this coming week and rolling some gift cards

  20. Lindsey

Will they allow you to stack the Bagel Bite coupons like that? I thought Target wouldn’t let you do that.

    • mel

Not following? You can always stack a Target store coupon with a manuf coupon. Unless you are referring to using it with the GC coupon? If so, my store will allow it since the coupon is off a quantity, not a value. In my scenario I have planned, I want to use a $1.50 off $7 Market Pantry purchase. In order for my store to accept it along with the GC offer, I have to meet each threshold, so a $57 purchase for the coupons to apply.

  21. Lisa Moore

Whenever I get a gc from target and try to use it on that purchase, they say I have to use it on another purchase not the one I got the gc from. Anyone else?

    • Cami

I have always been told that you cannot use the gift card that you received from that purchase ON that same purchase. You can, however, use it immediately after if you split it into two transactions (as long as you buy everything you need in order to receive the gift card during the first transaction) or save it for another day!

      • mel

Correct, you cannot use the earned GC on -that- purchase. Like Cami explained, you can use it on the next transaction or save for another trip.

  22. NH

There is a cartwheel deal for the Mrs. Smiths pies to, 10% off.

    • NH

      Sorry marie callendars. Whoops 🙂

  23. jenni

where is the $10/50 coupon located?

    • mel

It will be in tomorrow’s paper ad or you can text GROCERY to 827438 to get the mobile version. Sometimes the purchase coupons are available to print through Target.com, but won’t know until tomorrow.

  24. mrsgrobeckerJoanne

Just got $141 of groceries for $54!!! It was all stuff we need including baby food. The only thing we don’t normally eat is nutria rain bars but my husband said he will eat them as a snack at work. I feel like I always plan out these trips and things go wrong but today fell into place! Thank you SO much! You stretched our grocery budget this month!!!

  25. shari groat

So….I just accidentally text “frozen” to 827-438 and it says it’s not available until 11/18, wonder what it’s gonna be, anyone know?

    • shari groat

I meant to text “grocery” , not sure why I text what I did….lol

  26. Christine

I printed the $10/$50 from Target.com and during check out the coupon was scanning as invalid so the cashier took $10 off my order and then took my other coupons off Target, Target mobile, cartwheel and manufacturer, I got my 2 gc for the Kelloggs promo deal and then at the end the computer prompted for the $10 gc, I ended up paying $3.45 oop and this is what I got, what a great day for grocery shopping at Target:)

4 Ragu pasta sauce $1.67 each
3 Betty Crocker frosting $1.50 each
1 Swiss Miss hot chocolate mix $1.14
4 Pillsbury crescent rolls large size 3/$5
2 32 oz Coffee mate creamer $3.14 each
8 Kelloggs Nutri Grain $2.50 each
1 2lb bag frozen Simply Balance chicken breast $8.49
