LOVE my foodsaver! I buy organic chicken in bulk when it’s on sale and freeze family sized portions and just pull it out when I need it. Best investment!
i second the sentiment on the foodsaver! if you are on the fence, i’d say it pays for itself in time. ours is a different brand, but we got it as a gift, and we have used it a ton. its GREAT for keeping weevils out of huge 50-lb bags of flour, beans, rice, etc. we just open the huge bag and portion it out into 5-lb, airtight, thick bags and keep them in storage until we’re ready to use. we can also buy big bricks of cheese, and huge meat portions at Costco or on sale, and put them into smaller portions to freeze until we need it.
How is the cheese after you freeze it? I have thought about that before but haven’t tried it yet!
Cheese freezes very well. I can’t really see a difference once we thaw it and use it.
It freezes well but it is a little bit crumbly afterward
I freeze shredded cheese all the time. I don’t freeze cheese to slice and eat though, as it will change texture, but with shredded, I’ve never noticed a difference.
Does anyone have any good deals on the Food Saver bags?
we have watched Amazon and bought them there in bulk when we see a sale or have an Amazon credit. then we only need to buy the bags once every other year or so. it’s nice to have bags of different sizes and thicknesses and stock up when you see the 100-pack or multi-pack go on sale.
i don’t think the saver bags are brand-specific, either. we have even sealed ziplock bags on our machine after the air was sucked out if we saw a deal on them.
I just ordered bags yesterday from food savers website because the price was better than Amazon. They have $20 off any combination of 4 bags/rolls. I got a very good deal!
On the rebate form it does not include V2250 mode. So does the rebate not work for the one listed in your above deal?

When I tried I use the code homesale10 it said that the items I had in my bag did not qualify for that. All I had in my bag was the above food saver. What am I doing wrong?

I am not sure why it’s not working as I just tested the code again and it applied fine for me on the FoodSaver. Are you by chance on a mobile device? I’ve heard reports of readers having issues when using promo codes on mobile devices, so that may be the problem.

I am a new kohls charge card holder. Is the 30% for charge card holders always offered? Is there a way to use the 30% off in store, like being able to add it to the kohls app for them to scan.
Speaking of the Kohls app, I am ALWAYS having problems with it..constantly having to delete it and downloading it again.
I NEVER get coupons in the main from kohls,even now as a charge card holder. 🙁
30% off is offered quite often and you can always find the codes (along w free shipping codes) here! Sometimes they will honor the 30% in the store if you ask. I have forgotten my mailers w 30% off at home and the cashier honored it for me. Never hurts to ask. From my exp, Kohl’s has always been accommodating.
For me my kohls makes sure I have a 30% off code
And u can’t use online codes for 30% off in store becuz it doesn’t let them enter letters only numbers are allowed for where they put the promo code
For 30% In store look on retailmenot for a scannable code or the mailers u get if your a cardholder sometimes gives 30%

The rebate says to mail the original receipt – when purchasing online what should we mail them?
The Receipt is what you mail. After you place your order and they send the confirmation print that out or wait for it to come in the mail with the package. That is what you use to return the product so that is your receipt
