Can you price match the online prices and then use the 25% off Cartwheel?
I’ve been able to in the past. Should work but I’ve read one comment where someone’s store was giving them trouble
Last night I had a hard time getting them to price match their online price in the store. 🙁
I tried to price match the Rachel Ray set last night and use the cartwheel. After thoroughly going thru the policy – the “40% off today only” would be classified under a limited time sale which is listed under the price match exclusions. So, some targets might let you, but according to their policy they do not have to let you.
If I found a Christmas tree on line for sale can I apply my cartwheel or mobile coupon? Do you think they will still drop in price?

I have been trying since early this morning to get stuff loaded on my Cartwheel app and it won’t work! Keeps trying and trying and telling me it can’t access it. Boo!
I was having that problem too, sure enough there was an update I needed to do. Just go into the app you download apps from and find the Cartwheel app for the update.
It’s unfortunate. It looks like this is only on certain items. I wanted to get new stocking and the 40% off would have been a steal.
can you purchase something that’s only sold online then have them take the cartwheel offer in store from your online receipt?
Having problems with mobile coupons, wont load bar code.
A lot of stuff seems to be out of stock online.
You cannot price match the online price in the store and use Cartwheel. Cartwheel is meant to be used for “IN STORE” prices alone.
Those are the rules for Target, but it seems like some people get away with it. I read their comments on here all the time. Obviously, not all employees know Target’s policy.
Sure you can. I have done it before. Just take up your item at guest service, have them match the price on the website and use Cartwheel on top of it. I have never had issues.
Might work for some but I asked today at my local Target. They would not price match.

Just spent 20 minutes on the phone with Target. The item I was looking at online was marked that it was included in the 40% off, but wasn’t reflected at checkout.
She was able to process my order for the full amount but then I will get a separate 40% refunded back. Almost not worth the hassle, but I wanted my fox!
The price match in store and using the CW on top of it is very YMMV. Unfortunately I work till 6:30 every night and I was chomping at the bit to get home to try and do the Rachel Ray cookware set yesterday. I got to Target around 7 and brought up the set she refused to do both the price match and the CW. I have another Target down the road and they had no cookware sets left, so I assume they were probably allowing it and therefore sold out. I am still bummed about this I have been wanting that cookware set for a while and every time there is a deal I always miss it or this happens 🙁
Also note that by 7 Target had taken the orange cookware set off the website so she couldn’t even find it to price match it even though I had a print out of it. But that set is miraculously back in stock online again today, that really bothered me as I couldnt have even taken advantage of the 40% off online if I wanted to because they took it off.
Everyone trying to scam the system annoys me. How about you don’t get something for nothing. they offered one sale in store and a different one online. You don’t get to combine the two. It’s against their policy. The ymmv means you might get away with essentially STEALING and putting a poor employee’s job at risk for letting you.
