Yes they said that customer service had to do the price matching.
It depends on the store. My Target does it right at the register.
Target wouldn’t let me price match for a cartwheel item! Still got it for $10 but could’ve been better. It also $15 on Amazon.
If you read Target’s price match policy, it says they will price match if the competitor(Target.com in this case) is less than Target’s store price minus the cartwheel. It doesn’t mean use the cartwheel after the price match. Tons of employees don’t know the policy, obviously. That’s why so many people get away with it and get the deals that they do.
This is just my opinion, I know plenty will not agree, but it is frustrating when customers know the store policy but try to check out with ignorant employees in order to get away with a better deal. It makes the stores offer fewer deals and coupons in the long run when people take advantage of the system in one way or another.
Exactly! It seems some people only want to “use” the store’s coupon policy when it doesn’t go their way. They could care less about doing things that they know aren’t right just because they can get away with it. It hurts everyone in the end.
I know right and everyone gets pissed at target when they enforce their policy and don’t let you double dip the deal. This is what makes the management get stricter and stricter.
My Target had a lot these on the shelf. They won’t price match with a Cartwheel. Can’t complain with 50% off though.
I went this morning and purchase the track although target would not honor the cartwheel coupon and price match together they made me choose one or the other which I chose the cart wheel. 🙁 I still saved half price the original price was $21.99 and I purchased it at $10.99.
Got to Target at 8am and they did not have this toy…bummer!
I was able to price mat and bought mine for $7.74!! Thanks for letting us know, my husband is a firefighter/paramedic and he has been wanting to get this toy for our daughter!!
It is now 10.99 on Amazon. I just bought one there, did not feel like going out in the cold snow! Also in MI but in Northville.

Most Cartwheels are only good in store, including this one. Very few are actually good online but it will specify if it is.
