Awe, wish it were later in the day! I have to work until noon tomorrow

  2. Lesly

Is this going to be on every target location?

  3. Jane

What if I have a Frozen-loving 3 year old but no costume???? Would they not give us one?

    • Jennine

Be creative! Does she have a blue dress? Do you have a blue towel or sheet? A princess crown of any sorts. Any frozen apparel?

    • Swirlypop

I would imagine there are lots of frozen loving little girls. Perhaps the costumes is a fair way to distribute the bags. Might want to check out their facebook page to see if you can get more information.

  4. M

This just made my kids whole week

  5. Jen

I work at target and yes they will give you one even with no costume:) all targets should be participating:)

  6. Suzyq

While supplies last?? Meaning if we aren’t there at like 9:30 in line they won’t have anything left 🙁

  7. Miranda

I called my store and they said anything Frozen is fine. We’ll be doing a t shirt.

  8. Debbie

I called our local store in Missouri & they don’t know anything about this. So I guess it’s only at “participating stores”.

    • Britt

The one in Chesterfield valley is doing it. I
Saw the frozen picture back drop

  9. Becks

What if my little boy likes frozen? Lol!

    • Amy

Then dress him up like sven or olaf! 🙂

      • hope

Dress him in all white and say he’s snow.

    • Lisa

My mom sewed on black buttons to a white undershirt for my son. He dressed as Olaf for a little girl’s frozen birthday party. You could color on black sharpie on a white undershirt.

  10. Jen

They have boy bags too! The girls get paper crowns, the boys get paper antlers:)

    • Becks

      Thanks!!

  11. Jackie

Jen, can you give us a hint of what to expect inside the bags? Is it worth it?

    • Briana

      Agreed! Haha 🙂

      • Anna

I put them together today actually. It’s a crown or antlers depending if its a boy or girl back- the boy bags are white and the girl bags are red.
Besides the crown and antlers you get a page of stickers, a coupon code for a free downloadable Frozen book and a fruit snack

        • susie

just got back from the nyc queens target. costume is not necessary. all the bags were the same. a page of the snowman stickers, anna napkins, and candies. not worth the gas.

  12. TS

Cool! Target PTC Georgia is participating.

  13. Judy Trac

Is this at the CS desk

  14. Jen

It’s up to each store what they add to the bag. You’ll be guaranteed a crown or antlers, stickers, a target bag and a bookmark with a free digital download for a Frozen story. They may add extra treats in it, no guarantees though:)

    • allison

Thanks Jen. My girls will love this!

  15. brittney

Did they mention if the stores had a reasonable amount to hand out? I don’t want to get there and them be gone at 10:02

  16. Amy

Yes, I wonder how many kids they are going to be prepared for….

  17. Ashley

What’s the age limit here….can adults participate…. I wanna wear my Elsa costume 🙂

  18. Sandy y

    Awesome!!

  19. Casey K

Just got back with a disappointed little girl. Inside her “Frozen” gift bag was a packet of target fruit snacks, a mini candy cane, a pencil, and a pencil top eraser. I am not one to complain about free things, but when I told my 3 year old she was getting a goody bag of Frozen things….she was pretty disappointed.

    • Brittany

Well take this as an opportunity to start teaching her about being grateful 😃 Especially when there are kids out there who would love something as small as a pencil, stickers, and an eraser.

      • Keosha

I agree with Brittany. I wasn’t able to make it but my daughters would have been happy to get that.

  20. Brittany

We just got back. My kids got antlers and and crown (I have a boy and a girl), Olaf stickers, a free digital storybook, and an applesauce pouch. Everything was in a drawstring Target pouch. Awesome freebies and we didn’t even wait in line! Thanks Collin! 😃

  21. Courtney

In NH they were giving out a paper crown, a packet of target fruit snacks, a sheet of Olaf stickers and a coupon. It was a little disappointing to say the least. They were also giving them away to every kid walking by, so no need to worry about dressing your child up.

  22. Ginny

Just got back. We got paper antlers, apple chips, Olaf stickers and a code for a digital story book in a Target drawstring pouch. I thought they were going to have some Frozen characters there that kids can take pictures with, but it was only a backdrop.

    • Brittany

Why would you think that? It wasn’t advertised that way at all.

  23. stephanie l

The target in Strongsville, ohio only gave a drawstring target bag with a paper crown and the downloadable book coupon which is for Apple products only. I woke up extra early on my day off and my 3 year old and I were pretty disappointed. 🙁 she probably would have been more excited about the stickers than a paper crown.

    • Autumn

Same here in North Olmsted, OH! My daughter looked inside the bag and looked at the employee and said “there’s nothing in here!” (Mind you she’s only 5) disappointing :/ just more garbage.

      • Jessie

I’m sure there are kids out there that wouldn’t think this is garbage. I’m sure you took that as an opportunity to tell your 5 year old to be grateful no matter what…though it doesn’t sound like it. Now that’s disappointing.

        • Autumn

A vinyl bag and a paper crown… Is valuable to whom?? I think you should not judge others before jumping to conclusions. We did not receive what most of what others have posted on here. So please spare us all your “genuine” thoughts. And do something to help others in need instead of replying to my posts.

    • Brittany

It isn’t only for Apple products You can access the book on any laptop or desktop by going to the website and following the instructions. We’ve already downloaded ours.

  24. Barbara

    This was disappointing!

  25. Miranda

My store had pretty much the same. Crown, stickers, bookmark with download, and a pouch of gummies. It was a hit with both kids. The free book download was pretty cool. It expired today so make sure you do it today!

    • Jackie

      I
Mine says it expires 11-22-15 so that would be next year 😉

  26. Jessica

Our target in Stow, OH was participating and my 8 year old son refused to take his picture with one of the snow princesses that was dressed up. It was absolutely adorable and such a neat thing for target to do- and free. Plus, the employees all had smiles on their faces while watching the kids get their pics taken. Although we didn’t go to target specifically for this event, it was still cute and would have made for an excellent excuse for me to head to target to check out or just to get the kids on board with shopping:)

  27. Debbie

Yes, a bit disappointing, got a bag, paper crown, small page of stickers & fruit chews.

  28. kaylynn

why do you all sound so ungrateful? be glad that target even did something like this. not all companies do this and they all don’t take the time to hand out free little things that should be making a child’s day a little bit better but it seems that no one can teach them to appreciate the small things in life.

    • Jackie

Totally agree with you! What were you expecting people? I love my Target and I love when they take the time to put something together like this for the little ones.

    • Brittany

Thank you Kaylynn! So tired of reading all the complaints on here and facebook! I don’t understand how people can complain about something like this. Seriously, what are you teaching your children? Lose the self-entitled attitudes people and be thankful!

    • stephanie l

I didn’t mean to sound ungrateful. In my comment I merely stated I was disappointed because it wasn’t what others had posted. I spend a lot of money at Target, probably like most of the other people on here. I felt like with the amount of money target makes a year they could have done a little better.

I also posted my comment before leaving the store and was very disappointed by the fact all of the cashiers were not only eating the fruit snack that apparently were intended for the bags but had the stickers on their register. My daughter did get ONE sticker from the sheet and was excited to get that. And I did use that to explain that maybe they were trying to spread the happiness to everyone…but I didnt buy my own lie. It was a load of crap the way the employees at my specific Target handled the situation. I also posted my comment so that others wouldn’t waste their time going to that specific store.

      • Autumn

Neither did I. But I felt as if we fell into a trap with all these frozen toys right where they’re handing out “goodie bags” my kids wanted me to purchase these toys and were not interested in what they handed out or the cardboard backdrop. They had frozen toys displayed all around that section of the store…I’d rather not have target do anything such like this. It’s not doing moms a favor by “setting. This up in this manner…

  29. Mini

My kids enjoyed a lot , Elsa princess is distributing all the goodies and taking the pics with frozen theme background . Thank you Collin

  30. jane

What was in the bag was disappointing, but much better than anything Barnes and Nobel has ever done.
