Is this a boy game or would girls like it too? My daughter doesn’t really follow any of the typical “boy” cartoons/shows but she likes the TMNT. Not sure if this is something she might enjoy too. She’s 8

My 10 & 11 yr old girls and 7 yr old boy love it. When the girls’ have friends over for play date, they pick this game over all other games. Santa’s been buying them Skylander Giants, Skylander Swapforce, and he just bought them the Skylander Trap Team. 😉
There isn’t really a cartoon to go with this game. The characters you can choose to play as tend to be 60% boys 20% girls 20% walking rocks/trees/balls of lava. My daughter is 10 and my son is 7. They got Skylanders Giants a few years ago, and they love it. They now ask for every new game and all of the figurines. If your daughter is hard to shop for, the figurines (and now traps) are easy to tell people but you should know before you buy in that you need at least 8 figurines (and probably at least traps) to unlock every area and function of the game. (It is playable with just the starter set, but kind of frustrating.) There will be a total of 49 figurines and 21 traps for this game alone, and most figurines will have at least one repaint (it does exactly the same thing in the game, but looks a little different) and about 7-14 of them will have a Lightcore edition that comes out later (again, it does nothing different in the game, but it looks cool), so if your daughter is big on collecting, proceed with caution. It’s easy to spend $1000 of dollars on Skylanders if you don’t keep a handle on things.

Just the crystals. The figures are 3 for $35. But you need the crystals to trap villains. More $ out of our pockets. LOL.

I did this deal this morning after Walmart cancelled my order with them. The free $6.99 item I selected came up as out of stock AFTER I checked out and had an order # and stated that the item had been removed from my order without an option to select something else. I called and they were very gracious. They could not add another item to my order since it was completed, but they did give me a $10 order code that I can use in store to choose a replacement item.
Will Walmart price match this?

Thanks! I was so bummed I missed the Walmart deal, but I was excited when I got this one! I ended up getting Trap Team Starter for Xbox360 then got 4 traps (1 free, then did the 3 for $15), so my total after tax and free shipping was 59.39, which would be cheaper than buying the Trap Team Starter on sale at Walmart and then buying 4 traps at $7 each.
Found this deal a better value too. I was fortunate to get the Walmart deal but will be returning it.
Glad I was able to get this! My son will love it! Now I don’t feel as bad about skipping the infinity deal in trying to get it cheaper, I at least have 1 playset!
