I read some of the reviews on Amazon. A few of them warn about making sure you put the rain tarp on correctly are you will get soaked. That’s the main difference between the really good reviews and the really bad about being water proof. Other bad reviews dealt with service and getting a defective tent but since buying from Target. The tent can be returned easily if need be so encourage to all please set your tent up before the summer and save your ordering info.

For everyone who purchase this, it’s a great tent, the screen is my fav part…I purchased the 10 ppl (3 room) for around $70 at Target earlier this year and we went camping and it rained really bad on us, but the tent held up great. The screen helped a lot with keeping the tent clean and with a 1 year old it was very continent to have milk and the gas grill right out the tent door for easy access in the middle of the night.
I forgot to mention that we used a tarp under the tent and another big one on top…just to make sure we don’t get any water inside….so I am not sure what the water situation would’ve been like without the rain tarps. Oh and these tarps were purchased separately we also used the one that came with the tent, but the additional 2 that we used were from Walmart I believe the tarps cost us at least $50.
