As far as I can tell they aren’t on sale at Walmart ($350 for the 32 gb IPad Mini 2 and $290 for the 16 gb vs. $275 and $225 at Best Buy.

Just got a 32 gb one for $275 plus I had a $25 Amex offer. What a nice deal! Now I don’t have to think about trying to get one at Target tomorrow.

Tomorrow they are doing $100 gift cards with purchase of IPad Mini 2 at 6PM. I’m not sure if they will price match–not familiar with their policy.
I called to order over the phone and they did. Sister tried to buy in store and was told no as this was part of the Best Buy “2 day sale”.

I was able to price match with Target when CALLING to place the online order. Thy would not match it in the store.

I just got mine IN store with the gift card. Call another Target. Different stores are giving different answers. The Best Buy ad is NOT a Black Friday ad. It’s just listed as on sale.

Thanks so much for the info ladies. It looked like some got back in stock online for two minutes but sold out again. I called customer service about the price match and the guy said they couldn’t match to a best buy sale price…. Only to what the best buy REGULAR price was. Uhmmmm what?! Anyway I have a potential awesome ipad mini 2 deal that I think could work out. So if you buy today and price match to best buy today, you can still go in store while the ipad mini 2 gift card is live and according to their policy it looks like you are supposed to be given the gift card. So ipad mini 2 $224 with gift card only $124????
So are you saying that target price matched at 224.99 and also gave you the $100.00 gift card? I price matched mine at walmart and used my bluebird savings of $35.00. Can’t complain.
No that’s the idea but the card for the2 doesn’t go live until tomorrow. So I am not sure but It looks like their policy says you get the gift card though. For ipad 3 some people were able to price match AND get the gift card. I just looked at the policy though but it is different if you bought it online, online looks like you are supposed to be able to price match and get the gift card but they are all sold out. In store looks like they don’t have to price match due to the gift card offer
But for the mini 2 it is the same buying online or in store. They have to match to competitor ad today and then tomorrow they are price matching to target.com. It has to be while the card promo is live though
Wait I got confused. It looks like you have to buy online to do this. The holiday policy appears only to be for in store purchases and you can’t price match to target.com for nov 27. But it LOOKSlike you can price match to your online order? I don’t know. This just got really confusing.

I ordered at Best Buy at 4 am this morning. I go email order confirmation and suddenly tonight I got an email saying it is back ordered until between Dec 10 and 26th. I will be really ticked it they don’t come across with mine.
How do you get the discount? It’s not online, Best Buy in San Rafael CA never heard of it either.
