I would get the original black if you have a choice. I’ve had my original black for over 6 years and it still works great. The amount of the cutesy ones that are returned because they stopped working is crazy.

I went to ulta a few hours ago and gave them the coupon for the chi straightener that was in the paper that said it would drop it to $74.95 but at the register it actually dropped to $67.46 and that one came with a metallic bag. So it was a pretty good deal.
I put in my basket 2 items that came to $29, entered the code to get 3.50 off, but Ulta would not honor that code???? Anything I am doing wrong. Does the code only work on certain items??
It excludes prestige brands
The code does exclude certain items. Not sure which ones but they include it in the fine print.
The coupon will only work on ulta name brand products not on name brand items like bare minerals and urban decay. I have tried at the store with no luck!

Actually coupons work on anything drugstore, not just Ulta brand. Ulta.com/coupons for all brand exclusions.
Prestige brands don’t usually allow coupons on their products, it’s not just an Ulta restriction, but anywhere that sells that brand.
There are exclusions. A lot of time, that coupon won’t work on “prestige” brands. There is a list of what is considered prestige on their website. Hope that helps! Happy thanksgiving!

I’ve had a chi, but felt it wasn’t worth the money. I’m on my second Paul Mitchell, which I love. They’re pricey too, but you can find them on sale. I bought mine at JCP last year.
You can’t use it along with any of the Thanksgiving/Black Friday specials. I went there earlier tonight & everything was in stock, but the coupon was a no go. 😢

Kinda ot but I got my orders in from last week and they didn’t have the fragrance or skincare sampler which was kind of a bummer.
My order was cancelled shortly after being placed online. The Ulta Instagram account told me to contact gethelp@ulta.com, I did and they sent me a $30 egiftcard. Ulta totally redeemed themselves in my book. Anyone who had their order cancelled should definitely email them about it, it could help!!
I had ordered two curling rods only to find out my order was canceled since they ran out of them. On the plus side, I had ordered two of the Nume curling wads and was just going to take the Ulta ones back to the store for a refund. Ulta redeemed themselves by sending me a $20 gift card. Score!
I bought awesome deals on bare minerals sets for $10 originally eyeshadow alone is $16 it’s $45 value for such grey gift .
I was able to order the Urban Decay Big Fatty Mascara for $10 on Friday .. today I get an email stating it was actually out of stock even though they confirmed my order, they gave me a $20 egift card and aren’t going to charge for the mascara to make up for it.. nice, but rather have the mascara, does anyone know how long the free shipping on $25 will last?
How many of you got emails from Ulta saying your items are not available now, after getting a confirmation last week on Black Friday? I am sooooooo frustrated and MAD! I ordered 7 items shortly after they went live on their website and now only 1 shipped, the rest “out of stock” and cancelled. Oh, and I did not get an e gift card to apologize for all the items I am not getting.
