I just got the following email from reader, Christine:

Strider bikes are currently $64 on Amazon! Great deal as they go for $80-90 easily!

I did check and here’s what I found  – you can score the highly rated Strider 12 Classic No-Pedal Balance Bike for $64 shipped (reg. $99!) – available in 4 colors. This may seem high for a Balance Bike, but be sure to check out the many 5-star reviews.

(Thanks, Christine!)

Great bike! Definitely recommend this! Great price too! My husband payed almost $90 for this bike! 😮

So the child has to “walk” with the bike??

They are able to push themselves as fast as they’re comfortable with. As my son got older, he would push himself faster and faster until he, out of instinct would lift his feet up to glide. It’s a great bike and my son absolutely loves it.

We love our balance bike. I would recommend the Kazam brand. It is a little bigger and has a platform to put their feet on. My boys were both riding a pedal bike by 3. We skipped training wheels all together. Best purchase ever!!

just looked and toysrus has them on sale for $59 right now. Better buy than the Strider in my opinion.

Where? When i looked at toysrus they range from 99-109

Highly recommend, we own 2!!! They sell used for more than this, Hot price!!
For anyone that has a super active kiddo & lives where it snows, check out the Strider ski attachment, its AWESOME!!!

My daughter with special needs has been using her Strider bike–I highly recommend it! After trying for years to ride a pedal bike, she is loving the freedom of her Strider. Before I know it she’ll be ready to try pedals again!!
