Anyone know of any place offering the Elf himself at a good price? I have the urge to have one. lol

    • Ohiogirl

Me too! I was able to get just the elf for $12 at menards on Black Friday. I am trying to hold out and get a hot deal on the elf with the book.

    • Chrissy

Watch for hallmark coupons $5 off $25 and use it to buy the elf set. At one time that was the cheapest during Christmas. After Christmas they will go on sale.

    • Hilary

If you have a Costco close by, those have been way cheaper than anywhere else that I’ve seen . . .

      • Amanda

        Thanks!

      • cbeths

They were $22 at Sam’s the other day… but they only had the girl ones.

It is incredible how much merchandise has been created to support this little elf!

    • ash

It’s not surprising at all. Once an item becomes popular everyone what’s to cash in while they can. It’s just like everything else in American. What surprises me is how much money people are willing to shell out for this stuff. The elf/book set sells for $30+

      • Chrissy

$30 might be steep but we are on our 3rd year of using him and he still looks brand new and we still have about 5+ more years to use him in this house. So that’s comes out fairly cheap per year for a month worth of entertainment and magic for my kiddos. Well worth the $30. Anything to keep the magic going. 🙂

      • rachel

I didn’t say surprised. It’s more so that I’m fascinated by the consumption behavior surrounding what started as just a book and a toy a few years ago. The creators quickly had created a market for this stuff and knew that moms and dads across America will snatch it up.

I have the elf and have to admit to checking out the merchandise, but I decided I’ve already made my investment. Got her for $8 on clearance last year, BTW!

        Merry Christmas one and all!

  3. Erin

I have never seen the elf itself sold alone. Anyone know of where I could find it?

  4. Ashley

Has anyone seen the Elf on the shelf pajamas in store?

    • Lynndee

I just found my son elf on the shelf pajamas at Walmart. Super cute! Jolly (our elf) left them last night 😉

    • Lynndee

I just realized you were probably meaning in store at khols lol. I found the elf pajamas for girls but could not find the ones for boys anywhere. Not sure if they were sold out or just didn’t get any. 🙂

I think Christopher Pop in Kins is much cuter, especially for kids….less creepy looking. Same concept though.

  6. shop4mybabies

this thing terrifies me…and beyond that, my children make enough chores and messes for me, don’t want a tiny elf making more 🙂 ha. be sure to check out the coats and outwear on kohls. I was able to get my daughter an adorable juniors jacket normally $120 for 29.99 plus 20% off used kohls cash for that, some underwear, and 50$ work out pants and paid .13 cents

  7. Brittany Lightfoot

It’s charging me for shipping. Anyone else? Do you have to have a kohl’s card to get the free shipping? Anyone know?

    • cbeths

It has to be $25 after all coupons and kohls cash.

  8. Donna

I have over $30 of stuff in my cart but then when I put in my kohls cash it charges me for shipping anyone know how to get the free shipping when redeeming kohls cash?

    • Lindsay

Your total after using Kohls cash or coupons (before tax and shipping) must be over $25. If your discounts and Kohls cash drop you below $25 you lose the free shipping.

  9. Pharmchick

It’s not really a good deal but I’ve been looking for a child tray for my baby jogger stroller and kohls finally is carrying the brand so I used the 20 percent code and my kohls cash to get it for under 5 shipped ( I went to a store and used the kiosk for free shipping)

  10. Jessica

Barnes and Noble had the set for $2.99 one year after Christmas. They might do it again if you don’t mind waiting.

  11. Linris

I got the elf about a month ago at Toysrus. The display said $29 or $24.99, but it was $14.99 at register.

  12. Felicia

To those that have mentioned Menards and Costco, is it the plush elf or the original small one?
