I am not sure about all locations, but some Walmarts will be having a large sampling event on December 6th from noon to 4pm!
My Walgreens will have free 5×7 pic with Santa on December 13.

When I go to search locations for the photo with santa, I type in my zip code and all the nearby locations pop up. How do I know which one is participating?
They probably all are participating. Every Walgreens in my area did it last year as well. The store manager was Santa. It was fun and quick and they gave out candy.

Thanks Collin! I went to my local AC Moore this morning and they had Santa there too.
Went last year and it was kind of a hassle but I guess free is free. They had a background setup but Santa was 20 minutes late. Then we had to either come back another day for the picture or wait in the store for an hour. In the end the picture looked OK but you could see the other things in Wal-mart that were out side the Christmas scene. A much better option we have done in the past and a super cheap and cute christmas pic is at Petco. I know crazy right. I take the dogs and the kids and get them all in the picture with Santa and a frame is included all for under $10.00. Call your local pet store to check this out.
We went one year and looked all over the store for Santa. Online it said it was a participating store. Asked a manager and they acted like we were crazy. There was no Santa there. I had two upset little girls.
I did the same thing last year, brought my daughters and they had the background up but no Santa… The woman told me I could go to another Walmart and try or I could get a picture in just the seat… The picture was only one picture with both girls no Santa and you could see all the things around the area because the background wasn’t big enough… But it was free

I tried taking my nephews this morning to the one in North Bergen & Santa was nowhere to be found! The employees didn’t even know what I was talking about! I even called the Walmart in Secaucus & they had no idea what I was talking about either. What a disappointment!
