The kindle has kids mode on it where it is loaded with a bunch of games, books and cartoons that are preloaded. You just go to parental controls and set him up an account in kids mode. I think you get a free month trial after that I think it’s like $6 / month. It’s well worth it! They can’t get out of the kids mode without a password, they can’t get to the internet unless you approve that when you set up the account and they can’t purchase anything. You can download more games and books and add them to his account. I go to Amazon and search kindle books for children and sort from price low to high and you will find a lot of free and cheap books that way. Hope this helps!

We got that for my grandpa for when he was in the hospital. We had so much family visiting, it gave them something to do while there and he loved telling the stories. He passed so quickly, but we all learned so much we never knew.

My kids love the DK ultimate sticker books. There are areas to read and put stickers They are 4 and 7. My 2 year old is not as interested but it does keep her engaged for a little while.

I just finished it. I liked it, but it was no where near my favorite of hers. What I enjoy about her is that she takes a controversial issue and you read about all different points of view on the subject. This one was not like that, it was more of an unraveling a mystery type of book, but the ending was good. Hope that helps some!

I used the last code to purchase The Book With No Pictures by B. J. Novak. That is one of the best books I have seen for young children. I read it to a group who ranged in age from 3-7 and it had not only the kids laughing but the adults in the room laughing too. PLEASE by this book. You wont regret it. There’s a youtube video of the author reading it to give you an idea of what to expect. I dont have any kids but I knew this needed to be in my collection.
