I’ve been on the lookout for a hand mixer! Anyone have a review on this KitchenAid one?

    • Michelle

I have the Kitchenaid stand mixer and love it. I am assuming I would love this also

      • Darcy

Thanks for the input, Michelle! 🙂

I received a kitchen aid handmixer for a wedding gift. I already had a black & decker one. I will say, the black & decker is old (20 years) but MUCH more powerful, and I have no issues with it, ever. So I’ve kept the kitchen aid one (which looks prettier but isn’t as powerful) as a backup. Almost 8 years since the wedding, and I still haven’t needed it because the black & decker is still perfect. So you can tell which one I prefer.

I have had one other black & decker kitchen appliance: toaster oven. In that casee, it was TOO powerful. Seriously, it started fires. The company sent me replacements (a couple of times), but same problem each time. You’d think it was user error (husband likes making greasy stuff like pizza, nachos), but nope. Replacement (Breville) is awesome, and no fires.

Caveat: I can’t say for sure whether the handmixers produced TODAY would perform the way my older models have. So maybe someone with new models can comment.

        • Stacy

The newer Black & Deckers are definitely not as good. I prefer my newer KitchenAid handmixer. They do make higher grade handmixers aimed at people who use them frequently/professionally, but they are substantially higher priced. I believe the nicer one is $69.99. However, it is also 25 % off and the $3 coupon will also work.

Does any one know How many times you can use the “3 off 15” coupon?

    • Darcy

I think you can only use mobile coupons once.

    • EricaW

I think u can only use once!

      • Reyna

        Oh, okay thank you ladies.

        • JenniferS

Get your SOS to subscribe to target’s mobile coupons from their phone. Once all set up have them take screen shot of their barcode. They will need to send you the picture of the barcode so you have a second mobile coupon to use. It works I do this all the time!!

          • ana

            How do you take screenshots?

            • mel

What kind of phone do you have? I have a samsung galaxy 3 and I use the side of my hand to swipe across the screen right to left and it will take a screenshot pic.
If not, just google how to take a screenshot on XX type phone. There are lots of tutorials!

    • Jenn

I think you can print the same coupon from the target coupon site.

      • Jenn

Nevermind, I’m wrong, the coupon site has a $5 off of $35.

  3. Nai

    Only in store?

  4. KellyJoRN

I used the coupon on my phone and then the one on my hubby’s phone. I also cheated and had my friend take a still photo of the coupon/barcode and email/text it to me. It worked. I know it’s not the right thing to do but an RN on permanent disability is trying to get by on my hubby’s schoolteacher pay. 😻

    • Jenise

Wow! I would be embarrassed to admit that.

      • Allison

I agree! I would never admit it! You said you knew it was wrong, then why do it?

        • Jsturner1

If her friend was to buy it for her it would be the same. I use my friends coupons all the time. Not much difference. No judging.

        • lex

She basically just used her friend’s coupon without her friend being there. I don’t think it’s THAT drastic of a deal. Her friend won’t be able to use it as the barcode will register it’s already been used (since you can only use it once). Probably not the best thing to do, but who are we to judge? To each their own. Happy Holidays everyone and please avoid the negativity! This is a fun, happy site 🙂

      • Liz

Why should she be embarrassed to admit she used her friend’s coupon? I use the coupons that are sent to my phone and my boyfriend’s phone sometimes…and I’m not embarrassed one bit. I think it would be more embarrassing to be such a judgemental person! Just saying.

        • Diana

AGREE!! People on this site offer their codes up all the time when they know they won’t be using it and others readers use them to save on their purchases … same thing!!

          • Kailyn

EXACTLY! I just used someone’s Sephora code earlier today! Same thing as her using someone’s coupon at Target! Not a big deal. I think it’s great to save more money instead of it going to waste.

    • FrugalChic

Absolutely no need to be embarrassed! I don’t understand why other people would be embarrassed to use their friend’s coupon, but I guess we all feel differently. That’s what makes us human. 😉

      • Jacki

I agree. I use my daughter’s sometimes if she won’t be using them. That’s not cheating.

  5. Luv

Sephora $15 off $50 purchase. Gift card# 6104815603204801. Pin 50420475. Hope that saves somebody sone money. Merry Christmas. God bless.

    • Diana

Thank you sooo much Luv. Got a couple of my beloved YSL lippies!!!

  6. amy

good gawd with all that’s going on in the world and these people made negative comments about this woman trying to save a few bucks.
On another note I needed a blender so I’m very thankful you posted this deal thanks hip2save

  7. vanessa

    reviews on the juicer?

    • Ashley

I was wondering the same thing!

  8. sarah

i just purchased the sodastream bottles online. They are $4.99. Can’t use the cartwheel but a great deal if you live a long way from target like I do. Free shipping!!!

  9. aj

i have this juicer. Its ok. No big bells and whistles. But, make sure you test a few settings. For example the hard fruit setting doesnt always work with certain hard fruit. Hope that makes sense. Its just a basic juicer and its not going to be as powerful or efficient as other juicers. It leaves a lot of pulp behind. HTH

  10. Rosy_0726

I use my husband my brother”a and mother”a coupons always because they never need them!!!

  11. Sarah

I couldn’t get the same deal on Kitchen Aid hand mixer. The rep took the 15% off first then the $3.00 but said the $3.00 automatically takes it off the full price first, not after the 15% off regardless of which he scans first. Still got it for a little under $26 instead of $22.49. Also tax in CA makes it more.
