Is it difficult to redeem for a gift card using beta?
Michelle- It is not too bad. I do not twitter or use instagram. I did set up a pseudo twitter account to use basically for this and other coupon/promo offers. For the Coke beta gift card offers, I just used images from the internet to “tweet” the requirement. It took me a time or two to figure it all out, but once I did it was not that difficult. I was holding out for a Target card, but just bit the bullet and used my points for a Walmart card and a McDonalds card.

How do you get coke points to add up quickly? I’ve only done codes from 2 liters and that takes forever!
12 pks are 10 pts, 24pks are 20 pts. They run double codes but it sucks since you can only add 100 pts a week.
We find soda bottles everywhere. I had managed to accumulate 1210 points since Jan 1 and 80% of those were found. You can’t be ashamed to pick up bottles from the ground! We also used to find a bunch of Powerade caps after baseball games at the park we go to a few days a week.

I was waiting a week to be able to add points as I was maxed out. I was within a few hours of being able to add the final 10 points to purchase a Home Depot gift card. I had even gone to the store to purchase more coke so I could add the 10 points. That was just prior to Hip2Save announcing that Home Depot cards were available on the Coke reward site and within a few hours they were sold out. I just can’t win this year (lol).
I hear you! I got the early gift card deals (Best Buy, for example) thinking that was all they were going to offer this year. Spent all my points on those (places I don’t shop) only to have much better offers come up after. I didn’t do very well this year, either!
On beta you could have done the activity to get the gift card and it sits in your rewards for awhile. You do not have to redeem right away. I did that with McDonald’s this morning. I tweeted last week got the reward. It said redeem by 1/16/14. I added the extra points I needed this morning and redeemed it. I think Home Depot may still be available on the beta site.
