Is this a “sale” price or the everyday price? Have you considered signing up for the Disney Visa credit card, you get a $200 giftcard plus earn points as you spend. We are saving for next summer.
It’s only available for a limited time, so I snag them whenever they have them and I have enough points. Yes, I got the Disney Visa the first year it was out, but I didn’t get any special gift card deals when I signed up 🙁

So happy – been saving my points because there was never anything I wanted. Was able to redeem for 5 $10 Disney cards and 1 $10 Starbucks card, so there must not be a limit. Great surprise today! Thank you Hip 2 Save for the heads up!
How frustrating! Was trying to redeem my points, I had over 3000 and they are gone. They apparently expire, if you don’t log in your account for more than 210 days. That stinks.
Update: Contacted CS and got my points back 3985. Yay

The points requirements go up every year for the gift card! In 2011 they had a $20 Disney GC for 750 pts. Last year the $10 was 100 pts and now 1100 pts. Hey, at least they are “free” since I would be purchasing the movies anyway 🙂

What is the normal point value for the Disney gift card?
I think it’s always 1100
So dumb that they limit you to 1 code per movie title. So if you buy 2 of the same movie, you can only get credit once even though they have different codes/numbers.

Thanks for the heads up! I’m trying to save up for my family’s trip to Disney World in November 2015! I’ve been saving up for a while on DMR and finally redeemed this reward. So there’s $30 I don’t have to worry about (Meal for one? Souvenir?).

I’m short about 30 points. Guess I should be more religious about entering points as I would have enough points if I had been putting in the 25 days of Xmas points daily. I’ll have to look for a code from the movies that I might not have entered.
