I think I saw these up front (when u walk in) at Costco (in Chas, SC) for this price.
I was going to say the same. I don’t know if they are the exact ones but they look similar.
I got the Komachi knife set from Costco and it’s very similar to these. I really like them and the covers are a great thing to have. I think I paid something like $25 at Costco. I have seen a similar set advertised for Sam’s club too.
Yes, that is right but then Costco (Austin) posted a sign that they had been discontinued due to a quality issue. They had been featured in their Nov coupon booklet
Truthfully, with all of the stores that offer free “ship to store,” I am surprised that JC Penney charges for this.
Yeah their shipping is crazy…reason why I never purchase from them online..only in store. I recently grabbed an 8 person dining table dish set there for $60! Was originally $200! Used $10 off $25 purchase! Plus if u have a j cpenney card you save I think its 15 or 20% on top of it!
They offer free shipping to store if you place the order in store with an associate!
Publix has it cheaper…
Is there a discount code to use in store? Or is this online only?
Has anyone seen these in store?
Click on find a store to see if their available. They were in stock for me.
Thanks Shirley, Don’t know why I didn’t think of that…
Don’t trust them when they say “in stick” because I was debating on purchasing a bracelet and couldn’t decide on the width. It said all 3 were in stick for both stores near me. I called before heading there and they both said they only had one size in stock. Grrrr!!
Does anyone have these? Are they nice? Cut well? My mother wanted a nice set of knives for christmas…..not sure on these though……..
I have the komachi set from costco they are similar in style and price. The set I have are very light but very very sharp. The covers are nice if you don’t have space for a block or magnetic strip to store knives and have to put them in a drawer. The covers also make it safer to take along in a picnic basket or lunch. Though I have seen individual paring knives at Walmart that also come with covers for cheap. I haven’t had to sharpen them yet but I know one is getting close to needing it. The blades also haven’t really had a problem with nicks or burrs. Aside from my not hand washing and opting to wash in top rack of dishwasher I try to take care of my knives so they have lasted.
I have this exact set. they are amazing.
If anyone has these, can they comment as to if the paint chips off? I had a set that was similar to these and the paint began chipping off so I got rid of it as I didn’t want paint bits in the food I made. Thanks!
These have manufacturer’s lifetime warranty.
Have had mine for a year almost. no chipping and still sharp
In my first set the blue knife the handle come off the blade almost cutting my hand and that was my first use of the set. Returned and got another from JCP. So good so far.
Lol LOVE your screen name
I got them shipped to store, came out to 25.91$. Won’t have them until the beginning of the year, but I’m not complaining! Thanks for the great deal. Love these colorful knives!
I don’t know about this exact set but I have the set from Costco and love love love them! No paint chipping at all and I’ve had them over a year with daily use.
These said they were available at my
local store. Drove there only to be told they don’t carry them. Very irritating. I did order them online and am having them shipped to my store but it seems wrong to have to pay $3.95 for shipping when it’s showing available at my store.
Same thing happened to me! I actually called first to have them hold it bc it said they HAD them. They sold out on Monday. It is annoying have to pay the 3.95 ship to store.
See my comment above.
According to their site, these were available at my store, so I didn’t see why I should pay $3.95 for in-store pickup. I called and was told that they ship to store, that they don’t take store stock for online orders.
Anyhoo, she waived the shipping and I had $16.03 left on a GC. After all was said and done, I paid $5.36 OOP!!
I called their customer service number and was told the $3.95 ship to store charge will be waived for the inconvenience of driving to my store. Will call ahead next time.
Wonder if I can get 3.85 refunded. Bc it did say they had them in stock…
I just called and ordered and they waived the ship to store fee. Thank you, Collin!! Merry Christmas, everyone!!!!
I bought these online on Black Friday and I love them!! Haven’t had them long enough to see if the paint chips but I don’t wash them in the dishwasher just in case.
Says Sorry, not able to process the request. Error in data. Are they sold out?
I just called and tried to place order. Item is back ordered and will get only by Jan 5. So she offered me this set for $20.99 + tax
