I have this and have saved hundreds cutting my husband and sons hair!
Is it pretty dummy proof? I have 3 boys in my household and at $20 a hair cut every 6-8 weeks I’m thinking this could be a great money saver- but I’m not sure I would be talented enough to cut hair.
Yeah, it’s pretty dummy proof. I used a Wahl to buzz cut my sons’ hair many times. One thing you might want to do is ask their barber what number attachment (objects in color in the kit shown in the picture) he uses for different areas of the head. That’s what I did and got very good results.
Check Youtube for videos on cutting hair. It is easy!

I youtubed how to cut my son’s hair and have been cutting his hair for the past year. Super simple. The 3/8″ attachment is pretty fool proof too for beginners. If i can do it, you can. I was sick of paying $20 every 3 weeks.
I’ve been cutting my sons hair for two years. I’ve gotten better over time and some cuts are better than others. Worth the investment when I realized my kid could scream at home for free. ;). He doesn’t scream anymore but I’m glad I bought my own. I’ve even cut my dads a few times.

It’s super easy! I quickly buzz cut my 6 year olds all the same length. You can take your time and try different styles but we prefer fast and easy (and cheap) lol!

Got it! Ours is starting to have problems after 12 years of cutting my husbands hair every 2 weeks and the boys about once a month. How I learned to cut hair was by watching how they did it. I paid attention to how they blended in the longer hair that was scissor cut to that which was cut by the WAHL. Then, I would cut it once and then have them do it the next time. After a few times, my husband said I did a better job then them 🙂
