My 7 yr old has been bugging me to get him a guitar. I just don’t want to spend a lot because who knows if he will stick with it or not. I think this is a full size guitar though even though it says starter package. I tried some on for size with my son at Guitar Center and 3/4 size is what he needs. Too bad they don’t offer smaller size.
If you look under the question & answer section it seems that a lot of people are saying it isn’t a full sized guitar. One reviewer said it fits her 8 year old perfectly.
This is 3/4 size at 38″. We have the purple one.
I got this for my daughter for xmas and the neck came apart from the base the first day. They are sending me a new one but I don’t have too high of hopes. Quite a few negative reviews. Figured I’d give it one more try. It hasn’t arrived yet.
As a music teacher, this is considered an “instrument shaped object”. So please keep that in mind.

Is there a guitar you’d recommend for an adult wanting to begin guitar. Could you say which guitars are affordable and decent to which we can save up for? know nothing about guitars but a dream of mine to learn to play and write songs.
My husband and son both play. Get a cheap good guitar. These just don’t sound right. Don’t stay in tune and frustrate a new guitar players. It’s hard to tune a guitar if you don’t know guitars. Hth!!
This may as well be a toy. If someone is learning to play, go spend $100 or so at a pawn shop and you’ll do way better.
