If I do the purchase in store with my VISA like mentioned, I guess I give my email address at checkout to have the gc emailed to me? I wonder if I will actually get the $10 email gc. ?? Has anyone already tried this in-store? I’d rather buy at the store than online.
Kerry, when you register the card its automatically tracked by the card (through the trialplay site) and emailed to you. We gave email both times at register and the receipts were emailed to us first, then the egift cards came shortly after.
I’ve done this once with my boyfriends card and once with mine and we’ve had no issues. We both signed up Visa debit cards and at the register in store did both transactions as “credit” (w/o entering PIN). Money still came off both accounts immediately as a normal debit purchase would. My purchase was only $22.63 including tax with my card. I got 5 shirts and one pair of socks all on clearance and didn’t use any other coupons. His transaction came out to $36.99 exactly including tax after using the $10 off $40 in store. We both got $10 egift cards emailed to us within an hour after the qualifying purchases.
