CVS Shoppers! Check out the email I received from reader, Hema:

CVS has these lunch containers for $5.99 each or 2 or more for just $5 each. They are usually around $10 – $11 on Amazon (I have had it on my wish list for a while). I bought one last week for my daughter’s lunch and liked it so much that I got three more today. Though it is advertised as a salad container, a sandwich fits perfectly in the bottom container with some fruits, veggies and a dip on the top. My picky eater loves her lunches now! This is a limited special item at CVS and is selling out fast.

Target has the sandwich cubes on sale for 4.49 (regular price 4.99). Been using them for awhile now and love them!

my daughter is not a big eater and the small split is perfect for her lunch at preschool. 1/2 sandwich on one side, and I put a silicone muffin cup on the other side with some fruit in it and chips/crackers beside it the cup.

Can %off coupons be used on these?

    • Stephanie

Can somebody let me know..Is it leakproof..?

    • Kris

The ones I have seem to be. There is a gasket along the edge that makes a pretty good seal. I’m not sure about these because I bought mine elsewhere.

Sistema has leakproof bowls. I have them and so fair, they are indeed leak-free.

I never seem to get those email coupons from CVS, at least ones for the store. All the ones I get are for online. How do I get the store coupons? Not like I don’t spend enough money at that store.

Priscilla, I never knew this til recently…when u scan your card at the red box, keep scanning until it says u r done. Sometimes my card scans 4-5 times. Hope this helps!

Sistema is sold at The Container store too. I just bought some last week; I didn’t want the the pastel colors. They only come in clear with a regular blue latches. The Salad-to-go container costs 7.99 and I used my 15% off Pop coupon, or sometimes you get a coupon at the register. You can buy other items too. https://www.containerstore.com/category/sistema
Also, I’ve seen these sold at HEB & Office Depot (they have $10 off $50 coupons usually, sometimes a $5 off $25), etc.
I didn’t get a CVS coupon yet this week either. I have seen the sistema at one store though in the dollar type section.

For all those wondering about these containers they are amazing I have so many by this brand. I am a nurse who works 12 hour shifts so I pack pretty much my entire day worth of food and work multiple days in a row so I pack everything in containers by this brand and stick them in the fridge and then just grab what I new for each day. They are really sturdy I have had some of mine for almost 2 years and they still look and work perfect. For the price I am going to have to go buy some more of these.

I am a nurse as well and I was thinking the same thing. I need these for my 12 hour shift. What kinds of things do you pack in these containers???

      • Jenny

On the salad container I normally pack salads or like a pasta dish with veggies in the top compartment. I use the split container for veggies and fruits to munch on while charting.

You can also find good deals on this brand at TJ Maxx and Marshals. I highly recommend them, i use them everyday for packing my daughters lunch.

    • merrypenny1

I wag just going to write the same. That’s where I got mine.

  12. sam

Yes I think they are cheaper at Maeshalls and Tjmaxx too.

anyone use the soup container? Wondering if i send soup ect. to school w/ the kids, will it still be hot after about 4hrs

  14. Candace

We love these. I usually buy them at Burlington Coat Factory in the home goods section. They are much cheaper there too. I didn’t realize CVS was carrying them. Guess I’ll have to check it out. These are fantastic for sending anything with the kids for lunch. I’ve never had them leak.

  15. Kam

They also have this at ALDI just bought it. Dont remember the price but I know it was cheap.

  16. m
