(Thanks, Freebies for a Cause!)
Thank you! Excellent gift idea.
You are welcome, Lisa! 🙂
I bought this on Ebay for under a $1–it ships from China so it takes a long time to get it (about a month) but it’s worth the wait. Looks just like this necklace.
Ditto!
I bought the same necklace through aliexpress.com also under $1 from China totally worth the wait!
Can little boys wear these??? TIA
I was thinking of attaching it to my son’s key chain.
I think it is suitable for anyone to wear.
You could always remove the chain and attach it to a keyring if you want something different.
Perhaps buy some leather cord and put the pendant on that. It’s more masculine that way. 🙂
If you aren’t afraid of ordering directly from China and their slow shipping, you can get them for 99 cents here!

I’ve ordered many times from AliExpress. They’re great.
I do want to mention that buying from AliExpress will generate a small additional charge on your credit card if you pay by cc. I ordered $50+ and my credit card company charged me $1.31 international fee. Just something to think about. 🙂
I would call your credit card about that because I order from them all the time and have never been charged an international fee 🙁
Thanks, Heather. They took it off when I called them in December but they did advise any future transactions would incur the fee because the business is based overseas. We earn a lot of cash back with this credit card and never carry a balance so I can live with that. 🙂
99 cents with free shipping from China. How in the world do they make any money?? Shipping alone is more then that.
Check out eBay… You wouldn’t believe the deals you can get if you order straight from China. I get so many things for .25 or less and free shipping. Its crazy!
My kids bought me a sterling silver one for my birthday from Sam’s club. I wore it for about a year and the day I took it off to change it out for another one they noticed and asked me to put it back on. Sam’s also sells a gold (10 carat, I think) one too so that’s an option if you want a longer lasting one.
I had this necklace and the outside piece catches on things. Also the lettering wore off almost immediately (and not uniformly–some of the black disappeared while the rest was still there). For the price it’s okay, but I wouldn’t really recommend this.
This would be perfect with the book ‘Guess how much I love you’ by Sam McBratney. It’s actually a line that the adult character says to their baby “I love you to the moon & back.”
Just an idea for Valentine’s Day.
Wonderful idea! Thank you.
I wouldn’t trust cheap jewelry from China. Especially for a child. They are known for using toxic heavy metals because they’re cheap.
I ordered this item this afternoon and shortly after my account number was stolen. It may be a coincidence but I won’t be ordering from this site again.
I personally will never order from Tanga again! Last time I put an order in, 1/2 the order was missing & the other 1/2 was incorrect! Customer service was rude & ignorant. We went back & forth for months until I finally gave up & never got my money back 🙁
I wish my hubby checked out hip2save. I would love for him to find this for me without me hinting 😉
