Try your local costco or walmart. Also contact VSP if correct they have a mobile bus that goes to clinics on the west coast and gives out free prescriprions (this came from a friend that is why i do not have more info for you)
I just got an exam for $19 at vision works.
I was thinking of going there – they’ve had a coupon in the SmartSource the last few weeks here in UT for the $19 eye exam. They are also doing BOGO, though I’m not certain if you can combine those offers?
