Target: 50% Off Valentine’s Clearance
If you’re planning to venture to your local Target and take advantage of the Weekly Deals, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for Valentine’s Day clearance! My store here in Boise, Idaho, has Valentine’s candy/food items marked down to 30% off AND home decor, accessories etc to 50% off (clearance availability and markdowns will vary). And, be sure to price check your items as my store had no signs out, but the items were on sale.

The whole valentine season I was looking for a valentine barbie for my daughter (because that’s what my mom did for me) and I could not find one. I did not think to check Target. I even tried Toys r us. I think I will stop by when I get off of work to see if they have any at my store and put it up 4 her for next year.
Check amazon…they have a couple to choose from. Hth!

I just got Valentine chocolates at CVS for 50% off. Mostly Russell stover, Ghirardelli, and fererro.
When will it be marked down to 70% and 90%?
I’m wondering the same! My store doesn’t hang onto seasonal items though outside of Christmas. They say that within a week it’s all off the shelves.
I went this morning and I found a valentines day cupcake travel container for 9.99 was 19.99. Picked it up always wanted to get one. I got a spatula for 1.50 had some hearts on it. I saw quit a bit of stuff marked down just nothing I needed. Candy was only 30% at my store.
Our store has been pretty much wiped since January, even our dollar spot! I found out that people are filling up their carts and buying the valentines items & All of the really cute dollar spot items and selling them on eBay and Amazon for $15+ each! So sad and disappointed. 🙁
I bought more today then I typically would have at 50/30 because there was hardly anything left at my store. I don’t think it would have been there if I waited for 70 let alone 90. My daughters bday is in a couple weeks so I really hoped to get a bunch of the spritz bag fillers and I was surprised to see how much was gone before vday with the 40 off CW. I just found a couple things left after digging through a cart..1 pack of the bubble wands, 1 pack of the heart jelly bracelets, 1 pack of rubber balls, 1 pack of the mini play doh and 2 packs of the hot wheels. They did have a lot of the friskies cat treats left which if you stack the mobile coupon and 2x mfg you can get 2 boxes for 98cents total. There are 3 pks in each box.
Oh I like that mat and silicone baking sheet! Didn’t have those at my store but got the cookie cutter and a cookie pan shaped in hearts
I went to two Targets today, and they really don’ t have that much. Oddly, I did find the MP Fruit Snacks (50 pouches) on sale for $1.69.
Yes! I had been eyeing the Hello Kitty and Dear Daniel mug set since it was set out but I did NOT want to pay $10 for it. I went there this morning and there was two left! It rang up as $5 and I gave the plushie to my sister – I just wanted the mug! I also got the to-go mug pictured, cupcake tins for $5, a dog plate for $0.74, and some treat bags for $0.50.
Haven’t checked Target, but my 2 local Wal-Marts were wiped clean, by 7am this morning!
Walmart and Walgreens also had their stuff on clearance for 50% off. There was still a bunch of stuff left

Got a muffin pan with pink cupcake wrappers for 50% off, $5, this morning. Already made muffins with my 11yr old this morning.

I got a Nordic Ware frosting decorator set for $4.99, it has four different tips. It’s really nice! It was with the Valentine’s clearance because it has loved themed stuff on the box, but that’s it.
the same one on eBay is going for $23.00…I’m sooo excited about this deal 🙂

Michaels has their valentines stuff 70 percent off, plus through Monday you can use their 25 percent off entire purchase of sale items coupon with it. Great deals!!
Surprisingly my Target had a lot more Valentine clearance than I expected. I’m guessing because of the weather people aren’t out and about as much.
Yay I found the cute heart home welcome mat for $6.50 and a few Hello Kitty things for my daughter’s birthday party in a couple weeks. I couldn’t believe how much this Target had left. I’m hoping it will go to 70% off soon and still have a lot left. =)

Hi Sara, it was with the other v-day clearance items, but buried under some heart shaped bath rugs. I was surprised to see them back there, as they usually remain on their regular shelves when they go on clearance (at least at my nearby target stores). So I’d check both places at yours and maybe the end racks too.
Where did people find the welcome mat? Was it back with holiday? I know before it wasn’t.

Does anyone know Target’s return policy for holiday clearance items with a receipt? For instance, I bought a v/day clearance item earlier this week with a 50% discount but now it’s at 70%, so if I was to return the item with the receipt for the 50% off price, which price would I receive back? The price I bought it and have the receipt for, or the lower clearance price that it is currently? I reviewed their exchange policy online, and there was really no straight answer for returning the holiday clearance with a receipt once the clearance discount increased . If anyone can answer this, id really appreciate it.

I know that food/candy goes 30/50/70% & reg. items go 50/70/90, but does candy ever hit 90%??? I know typically it is very rare for stores to have candy left even at 70… but just wondering if there is any candy remaining when toys/etc go to 90, will candy go there at some point as well or does it stop at 70?
My Safeway (Bollinger Rd, San Jose, CA) has Valentine candy for 50% off. M&Ms normally $4.99 are now $2.49. Will this price go lower? I paid that price at another store about Feb 1 so it does not feel like clearance.
