I paid $30 a couple weeks ago. It was well worth it because they’re out of stock now. My daughter got it for her 5th bday, and she absolutely loves it. It makes sounds, lights up, has lots of little hidden compartments and tricks, and it comes with tons of accessories. I highly recommend it! PS- some of the parts are teeny tiny, so make sure you have a little plastic storage box or something in mind.
So are these pieces too small for a 1 and a half year old?
Julie- I would say yes. I think the box says 3 and up (which I never go by anyway). The Sofia figure and the furniture aren’t too small, so you could always just keep the small parts (dining table cups, plates) aside until the time is right. It’s just that some of the little parts are smaller than a Tylenol pill.

Target will price match Walmart.com or price match an ad, since this isn’t an advertised price I don’t think they will.

I paid $40 at Christmas time as it was my 4 year old daughter’s #1 toy on the wish list. My 4 yr old and 2 yr old play with it ALL the time. Plus the character sets are awesome! Outstanding deal at $15!!! Only in stock for $30 in my area!
How does the Walmart Inventory checker work? Is it commonly accurate/inaccurate, etc. I checked and found a store near my in laws that said it was $17 and I called the store to see if they had it and double check the price and it was the $30 price versus the $17 the online price checker site had it listed. Was the person I talked to in the store mistaken or is the website inaccurate? (and yes I know everyone says never call but the store is an hour away from myself and 30 minutes drive away from my in laws, so calling in this situation is important) Thanks for any information.
See if you can do in store pickup. That’s what I did. I put it in my cart online and chose the location that was the cheapest and that still had it in stock. The price went down once I chose the location.
They could have gone by sticker price. Mine was$17 just like the checker said but sticker still said $69

I bought 2 from my Walmart and the online checker said out of stock but they had 4 on the shelf.
The inventory of my local store says $17, but when I tried to checkout w in store pickup the price stayed at $69?! DH is going to run by on his way to work tomorrow morning and check 🙂
Were you using desktop computer /laptop. Mine showed that too on the laptop but when I did it on my phone I was able to do store pickup for $17.
Tried on iPad. Will try again on desktop once the Littles are asleep 🙂

Found it at my Walmart today for $17. It originally marked $79.98 at my store. Found in near the toy aisles in the middle on a large “clearance” display.
I found it at a store a couple of towns away so I ordered it online for in store pick up and have been waiting for the email saying it was ready to be picked up. Should have known not to get too excited – now almost 5 hours later I received an email saying my order was cancelled 🙁 And every store near me is out of stock.
I called my store near me. Transferred me to the toy department. The lady was kind enough to go check and they still had some. Couldn’t reserve since its in the clearance section. Went to the store and it was listed for $30 on price tag. When we went to pay it said $17!! YAY thank you!

FYI for anyone that is still looking for this. I was able to order online and pick up at a store near me. The inventory checker above said $17 but Walmart.com said $69.88. I took my chances and ordered it. Picked it up the next day at the store, returned it and rebought it at $17! A little extra work but at least I was guaranteed one. They were all gone by the next day had I waited! I can’t wait to set this up for my daughter – she is going to be so excited!
