Anyone able to vouch for this brand? I’m a coffee snob to a degree. I don’t drink stuff like Folgers, 8 o’clock, Hills Bros, anything like that. Mostly I like Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, Collectivo, etc.
My hubby is very picky about his coffee, he liked this brand.

I don’t care for Maxwell House, Gevalia, and the other cheap grocery store coffees. My favorite is Dunkin Donuts and I’ll drink Starbucks and Archer Farms. I usually go for flavored coffees (usually Dunkin’s Hazelnut) so I was surprised that I like the flavor of this nonflavored coffee. I tried the Fog Chaser and something else. I don’t care for really dark coffees but this one was great. I loved the packaging, too. Hate all that plastic in K cups.

I love Fog Chaser! I was skeptical too but it’s better than almost every grocery store brand I’ve tried and far cheaper too.
My co-worker is a coffee snob as well (he bought a new coffee machine for the office b/c the cheaper one wasn’t up to his standards) ;)…he likes dark coffee and he SWEARS by the Fog Chaser flavor of San Fran Bay coffee. Dunkin’ Dark Roast is is favorite for reference 🙂

I got our freedom clip in the mail on Friday. Do you have problems with it staying on? Ours slips off a lot and causes extra holes in the k-cup, causing a mess in the brewing area. Sometimes it just falls off.

I had the same problem. So I contacted the company explained what have happened with the clip. It took about couple of days to get a respond back from them, but they said they have asked their developers to redesign and strengthen the mold to withstand the pressure and heat while int the brewing process.
I just received a replacement clip in the mail last week and it supposed to be the newer designed clip. 🙂 Hope this helps!
Wow! They have sent you a replacement!? I made a second request for a clip several weeks ago after months of not receiving it, and still haven’t received anything. I did get the confirmation email/newsletter, but no clip. Maybe I should contact them?

I’m on my 3rd freedom clip. They keep bending and falling off. I hope they redesign it soon. I have a lot of their coffee! If this 3rd one breaks, I’ll just cut open their pods and use my reusable one (for the 2.0)

We have only tried Fog Chaser, but both my husband and I (who are both coffee snobs and proud of it lol) really liked it. I’m a med-dark fan and he’s a dark fan. It fit both of our tastes.
I think I am in the minority saying that I really don’t like this coffee. I tried to like it. I personally love the packaging and didn’t have any problems with the brewing. I just thought it tasted bad and smelled like old cigarette butts instead of fresh coffee (I always kept it sealed). Not sure if I got a bad batch or not. I tried it twice. The first time I tried RainForest The second time I bought the Fog Chaser in a small box at Wegmans before I committed to big box…I still didn’t like it. I don’t use sugar in my coffee though, only half and half. I like Donut Shop, Starbuks House Blend, Peets Medium blend..for reference.
I agree Louise . This brand is not one of my favorites. I also have a problem with their packaging leaving lots of sediment in the bottom of my cup. I purchase other k-cups packaged the same way and don’t end up with nearly as much yuck in
the coffee. Polite pass for me:)

Free shipping on any order ended yesterday 🙁 I just called the company to ask and she said that they offered it all last week, but it ended last night. Oh well. I’ll order from them the next time free shipping comes around. She said that you can still get free shipping on orders of $35 and up, though.
I’m a medium roast drinker & my husband prefers light. We’re both very flexible with brand. I tried the French roast in this & didn’t like the flavor but admittedly I hadn’t tried a french roast before. I ended up giving it to a neighbor. My husband likes breakfast blend in other brands but didn’t like this one. I liked the concept but went back to other brands after that.
Too bad the FS ended. I have had the Breakfast Blend and like it pretty well. I also like that their product is more environmentally friendly.

I love this coffee…my favorite is the Rainforest blend. For those of you who prefer a milder blend to the Fogchaser I think you will like the Rainforest better 🙂
