  3. Brooke

I received the coupon, but mine is for $1.50 off $5. My store in central IN had the Gear(exfoliating clean)on clearance for $1.24, so I got it for free.

  4. Jessica

I have 2 off of 8$ woo hoo!

I got 6 packs of Irish spring gear bar soap for free plus a moneymaker without the CVS coupon. They were marked $1.74 (75% off) and I was able to use the $2/1 coupons plus received the $2 ebucks. I also scanned my card before shopping and received a $2/$8 body wash, soap coupon that I did not use. There were no issues with beeping coupons at all. So if you have enough product and coupons you can really come out ahead. Make sure to walk the aisles as I spotted a lot of 50% and 75% clearance. I am saving the CVS coupon for another possible deal with Irish spring or possibly softsoap liquid.

    • Lyndie

Do the ECB’s print automatically for clearance? I didn’t think you could get it on clearance items at CVS.

      • mel

Lyndie, it’s hit or miss. Normally clearance does not count (and usually stated in the ad). Sometimes items aren’t in the system as “clearance” therefore it will count towards a deal. The past few wks, I’ve lucked out and gotten ECB’s on clearance items that were part of ECB deals (Jergens Natural Glow, Arm & Hammer Spinbrush, L’oreal Ever conditioning products) However, when I bought 2 clearance L’oreal Ever this wk, they did not work for the ECB deal, but that’s Ok b/c they were free after the $4/2 coupon and still count towards the Beauty Club.

    • mel

There’s a deal next wk, spend $10 on Softsoap (body wash & hand soap), get $5 back.
Also, Buy 2 Nivea Body Wash or Scrub, get $5 back.

    • Missie B.

Just to note that even though the coupon went through, it is not for the Gear bar soap, only Gear body wash OR Signature bar soap. Please use coupons correctly. ๐Ÿ™‚

      • mel

she did say she bought Gear bar soap. She propabably meant that the coupon was not beeping bc its more than the clearance price.

        • mel

Oh wait nevermind i thought the coupon was for the Gear bar soap, but you’re right it’s only for the Signature Bar Soap.

        • Brooke

I wondered about the “no beeping” statement because mine did beep when I used it on the clearance Gear body wash.

      • Steph

The coupons I used were from the Sunday newspaper(a couple of weeks ago) and included 6 pack gear bar soap. I did use the coupons correctly. I still have body wash coupons that were separate from the others. I did not use printables and I don’t abuse coupons.

        • mel

Thank you for clarifying! I didn’t get that insert coupon, and thought you were talking about the IP.

          • Marie

Missie B.-There are multiple Irish spring coupons in circulation right now. I did the same deal on Sunday at my CVS using insert coupons that were for the gear bar soap. Mine were also on clearance but $2.04 for 6 pack. HTH.

  6. mikeB

All 3 cvs’s in my area were out. One mgr said cvs is discontinuing the gear, so they don’t plan on getting more in. Not if it’s true, but that’s what he said.

    • Steph

That is what I was told also. They are replacing with the “Signature” line.

  7. sheila

Is the ECB limit one per household? Sometime they have a limit higher than advertised.

    • mel

I read it’s a limit of 7, but ecb will only print when buying 2 at a time (if you buy 3, the 3rd one won’t track either)

  8. lu

    i got the i off 10 ๐Ÿ™

    • lu

      1 off 10 meant to say ๐Ÿ™

  9. Jane

I’ve been to three different CVS stores to find they do not have any of the Irish Spring Gear body wash left in stock.

  10. rachel

Are the extra care bucks available immediately to you? For example, could I roll the $2 in ECB to another transaction? I know Rite Aid does not make their up rewards available until the next day.

    • Steph

If you purchase the required amount then yes they print and you can use them on another transaction or save them for later.

      • rachel

        thank you!!!

  11. sara

I can’t get this coupon to print from coupons.com. I can print from any other website, but haven’t been able to print coupons since I got new laser printer. The pop up box on Coupons.com says to go to start button and click… etc. I have a mac. Can anyone help me? Please ๐Ÿ™‚

  12. radrzr

Didn’t CVS recently crack down and we can’t use 2 of the same coupon anymore?

    • kw

My cvs has this new rule as of last wk allowing only 10 coupons/transaction.
I feel the hoops coming on…..blah

  13. irish spring

Irish Spring gear exfoliating clean and skin hydration was on unmarked clearance for $1.24 an I used 2 $2.00 off coupons on three bottles. Total due was 0 and total back was $2 eb

    • carolinabrooklyn

Me too! it was a awesome surprise!!

  14. Kyliesmama

Is it for sure a limit of 1 ebc?

  15. C

My cvs was completely wiped out. ๐Ÿ™

  16. ldtindc

I bought 6 body washes (2 were on clearance) in three separate transactions and received ECB each time.

  17. Judy Trac

    No coupon for me

  18. gayle

I did this deal – got the coupon!!

  19. K

The printable q does say Irish Spring Signature OR Bar Soap OR Irish Spring Gear Body Wash….it is so nasty accusing people of not using coupons correctly when the IPQ says it is intended for the Gear items.

    • AR

Yes, it does say Gear Bodywash, but the poster above said she purchased Gear BAR SOAP, which the IP q is not valid on (only the Signature body wash or bar soap). But there is an insert coupon that does include gear bar soap, which she replied after saying that is the coupon she used. if she said she used an insert coupon in her first reply, then there would not have been any confusion.

  20. Chery

5 Gear body washes marked on shelf as 2/$7 but rang up clearanced at $1.24.
    5 mfr coupons for $2 off = $10 off
    CVS magic coupon $1 off
Overage was applied to the other items I purchased in the same transaction. Nothing beeped.
    I received $4 ECB’s back.
    WOOT WOOT.
And…please…no lectures on coupon “rules”. I bought the exact products as advertised and CVS will get their money from the coupons.

    • Steph

Doesn’t it feel great to get such an awesome deal! Love CVS!

  21. Crystal

I bought 4 body washes today in a single transaction, got 4 ECB, and my receipt still doesn’t say limit reached. Stock up, everyone!

    • mel

Limit is 7 (or quantity of 14!) I originally read that they could only be purchased 2 at a time, but it does seem that it is tracking over 2. I bought 3 (the only ones on the shelf) of the Gear, all clearance $1.12 each! and says I need 1 more for my next reward. I used 1 $2 IP and a $1 ECB, paid $0.36, got $2 back. Hoping to find one more bottle. My husband & son have a decent stockpile of body wash & bar soap, but I couldn’t pass up these. Next wk, I’m stocking up for me! I see there’s deals on Softsoap, Nivea & Olay!

  22. Happymama

My stockpile BROKE my bathroom cabinet yesterday! No joke. just looked at it for a minute and told myself I need to stop buying shampoo/soaps LOL.

  23. Mama_kay

Yesterday, I went to CVS to purchase this deal. There were two Irish Spring Gear bottles left. The sign 2 for $7 was up and I had my $2 coupons. When I got to the register, The body wash had be placed on clearance for $1.12 each. I used 1 $2 coupon. So I got both for .24 and it printed out the $2 extra bucks.
