Did anyone have problems at Walgreens using 2 of the $2 printable Gear coupons? I did it twice and both times the second coupon beeped and gave some weird error. They pushed it through manually but now I don’t want to do the deal anymore knowing it will be a pain. Anyone else?
I had the same thing happen this morning on two different transactions. I’m not sure what is going on with these coupons.
I didn’t use mine at Walgreens, but I read that the barcode is coded such that it makes it seem to be an expired coupon.
Yes, same here this morning. The first coupon went through fine but the second one beeped. Thank goodness I had a nice cashier that manually input the second one:)
I used mine at Walmart with no problems…no beeping.
Yes, mine took off $2 the other only $1….used a Colgate TBq, and it did the same, somehow it balanced out…..Thanks, now I see what’s happening. ..I’ll pay close attention…
Both coupons worked at CVS, but when I went to Walgreens the second coupon wouldn’t scan and the cashier refused to take it because it said one per purchase. I tried to explain that meant one per item, but she wouldn’t and told me I could do seperate transactions. When I explained I wouldn’t get the RR that way she still wouldn’t budge, so I asked her to get a manager. She went to talk to him, and came back and said the same thing. So I cancelled my whole transaction.
The same thing happened to me with the second coupon but beauty counter cashier pushed it through.
Same thing happened to me the manager would not let me use 2 of the $2 coupons. I explained it means each item but they wouldn’t budge. I told them to forget it and walked out. Quite honestly everytime I try one of these deals it doesn’t work, so I’m giving up couponing it isn’t worth a the effort.
I tried $2 coupons at walgreens and it takes only one coupon and cashier is new so he said he won’t take another coupon. I used my 4 coupons at RiteAid and they scanned fine. So I got 4 bottles for free from RiteAid.
I had the same problem. At the first store I politely told the cashier forgot it after he was super rude. I left with nothing. At the second store the cashier pushed the second one through without a second thought. Has anyone figured out if it is just this coupon causing trouble or if the policy has actually changed?

If you download the Walgreens app you can clip the $2/1 manufacturer coupon right to your card!
I had coupon clipped in my card too but that coupon was also not going. For some reason it is taking one coupon only.
Check your local Kmarts, they have the Irish Spring Gear Bodywash on clearance for 2.50
I had the same issue, first one scanned and second one didnt. Manager told me on only one coupon per transaction. Said they have changed their policy. Surely that can’t be right. So I left the store without soap.

same thing happened to me this morning, luckily my cashier manually put in a $2 coupon. The register didn’t want to take the second one for the same reason above, one per transaction for like item…. something we need to watch for if they are changing their policy.

I went to the Walgreen in Sevierville, Tn and the first $1.50 coupon went thru and the second one beeped but my cashier was not as nice, and they never are at this store, and would not push the coupon thru. I made her void eveything and left. I never want to coupon in a way to hurt the store but feel most of us are honest and with times as they are we are trying to stretch our budget.
I went to 2 separate Rite Aids today and used 2 soap coupons at each one and both went through fine, I hope it starts working fine for everyone else!
At Rite Aid I bought 4 in one transaction and it went through fine.

The coupons aren’t working in Vegas I went to 4 different Walgreens. One cashier pushed it through the rest wouldn’t. Makes me sad I was looking forward to this deal.
The 2.00 coupon says limit one per perchase so you can’ t use 2
If you’re purchasing 2 items, you can redeem 2 coupons, hence one coupon per purchase. You cannot have the cashier scan one coupon multiple times. Now, if the coupon says one per transaction, then you would be limited to 1 coupon period. HTH!
It says one coupon per purchase, up to 4 like coupons in same transaction. So you should be able to use 4, as long as you are purchasing 4 bottles. They should be accepting them.
Wish someone could get Walgreens to understand that. I’m sick of trying to get the deals listed and being turned away. I’m done with Walgreens and with couponing.
The coupons specify Irish Spring Signature or Gear – does anyone know if the coupons work on original Irish Spring body wash? At my Walgreens the they don’t have the Gear kind and the sale doesn’t apply to the Signature kind.
It does have to be what the coupon specifies. At my walgreens the Gear was located a few shelves down from the original.
Does anyone know how much it is at Walmart? The same thing happened last week at walgreens with the Windex/scrubbing bubbles coupon. Only one scanned and the second beep. Walgreens sure doesn’t make it easy to coupon in the first place! I want this deal but not sure if it’s worth the frustration!

my Walgreen’s wouldn’t use the coupons on the new Signature type. They adjusted the price down to $3.50 per the ad price but couldn’t guarantee it would produce a RR. It’s so aggravating because the ad says “Irish Spring Body wash, 15 oz” and that’s what the new kind is. It was even a manager and he said he could’nt force the computer to generate a RR.
So aggravating. Couponing is definitely a waste of time most of the time at WAlgreen’s for me. I would much rather go to TArget or CVS where they’re more friendly w/ coupons.
