My son loves this toy when he goes to occupational therapy, its actually one of his favorite toys to play with there. Such a great price, and it will help him work and motor skills and core strength at home as well! I cant wait until it arrives, he will be soooooo happy!
Love ours and my nephew loved his also! Would highly recommend to anyone. In fact, it’s a lot of fun for adults too! 😀
My kids were given one for Christmas and it is the preferred method of transportation around the house these days. My son is doing his math homework on it right now.
These are awesome! I’ve given them as gifts to a 2, 3 and 7 year old and they LOVE them! The little ones push with their feet and the older ones love the ‘wiggle’ motion. Great present and Staples ships super fast! [/h2s_box]
(Thanks, Freebies for a Cause!)
Just bought two. One for my 3 year old son and one for his friends 3rd birthday in two weeks. Thank you for sharing this! It is perfect!
My 3 year old LOVES this (a little too much lol)! She calls it her roller coaster and rides it all over the house cuz we have tile. It’s loud and she bumps into everything but has a huge smile while doing so! Hope your little ones enjoy it just as much!
im looking at one of the comments posted above that said her son loves this while in occupational therapy… my kiddo is 3 and is in OT as well, along with a little PT… i wonder if he would enjoy this? i always see this deal posted and am always tempted but he has a bike with a push handle and he’s not a huge pedaler just yet, and has a cozy coupe but that too, he doesn’t really steep himself with too much so i wonder if this is something he would enjoy? sorry for the long windedness of this post!
This for sure or a Strider Bike. Our daughter is very hesitant and had delays from birth, with PT, OT, etc and feels so comfortable on her Strider bike, had it since age 4.
Thanks for the input!
Wooo hooo was able to grab it for 19.49
SWEET! 🙂
How??
Thanks, we picked one up. My daughter loves these at open gym.
You’re welcome, Kara! 🙂
We bought two of these for indoor use. We have cherry wood floors and after an hours use, our beautiful floors have lines all over from where the cars were driven:(
you know if they have it in store? I have a $10.00 off coupon
Will this work on carpets?
It works if they use their feet to push it. Our 5 and 3yo got these for Christmas and drove all over the basement with them. Now that it’s finally nice enough to go outside with them that’s where they have been. A hard surface seems to be the way to get them to work the way they are supposed to.
Speaking as an OT here, I use this with my students in the school district quite often! It’s a great scooter to work on motor skills and motor planning. A couple of things: I’ve used it on hardwoods at home and did have lines/grooves in my hardwoods 🙁 The wheels can be a little “slick” on linoleum and by that I mean they don’t “grab” the floor thereby making it challenging for kids to get the idea that you need to move the steering handles “slow and steady” to go faster. I’ve considered putting skateboard wheels on mine to help with this. And lastly, I haven’t had much luck using this on carpeting. If a kiddo uses his feet to propel the bike, then carpeting might be fine.
Love this! Get it!!!
I bought 4 last time this deal came up. I have to say that it was super easy to put together and my kids ages 20 months through 9 years old all can ride and love it so much. It was my alternative to buying bikes for everyone.
Bought one for my nephew for his December birthday (Yes, I’m that person! Ha!). Thanks for the idea and heads-up 🙂
Did anyone else get charged for shipping, even though you’re a rewards member? It’s saying I’m going to have to pay $9.95 for shipping, even after logging into my rewards account. Just curious if anyone else is being charged…
Joined the Staples rewards program and ordered one for my daughter’s birthday in August. Can’t beat free shipping! Now we’ll have to have self-control and not open it until then. 🙂 Thank you Collin!
I used $25 rewards then I even got additional 5.50 off each rider.. paying just 15.03 for 2 tax included! yay!
