Is there a way to tell what items are part of an ecb promotion through the coupon machine/ price scanner? or is it just a guess until you get to the cash register?

well the specific product mentioned here is listed as a qualifying product within the ad online, so i would follow up with your cvs or customer service if your eb didn’t print noemi

I believe before today the ecbs were being forced printed but today they were automatically printing

Finding certain travel sizes at my CVS is usually pretty hard since they carry so little.
The ECB printed automatically and it’s a limit of 1. They’re in the trial size section at CVS.
do deals track? if I buy $20 worth of products in a spend $30 get $10ecb products in one transaction and then $10 in a second transaction would it then print the $10 ECB … or do the items all need to be in one transaction?

I just went and looked at the online ad, and the 1 oz is not listed as part of the deal. Not sure why some people see it, because I don’t. Only the 6.5 oz is listed, and it says “Products starting at $6.49”
You have to look at the “other” deals. It’s separate than the regular clean & clear deal

Yes if you go back within 3 days of your purchase they will scan your receipt, scan your coupon and give you cash!

Thanks Barb. My cashier refused to take the TENA CVS coupons. She said even though it says manufacturer coupon the money will go to CVS.
Target coupon policy states that they will accept manufacturers coupons even if it says Redeemable at CVS and their store logo. Its posted on their website in FA Q section
None left in either of the stores in my town… So frustrating!

Interestingly enough, these were gone at three stores, two that tend to be non-couponing. I suspect corporate had them pulled from the shelf.
It’s listed online. If corp wanted the deal pulled, they would take it out of the system to not print the ecb, not pull product from the shelf. Drug stores don’t have massive qty of stock to begin with. When I went yesterday, there were 6 in the bin, enough for 2 people to do a deal. There are lots of blogs besides H2S that have it posted, and several that had this deal posted the beginning of the wk. I bought them yesterday long before the deal was posted here. I know of people that will hit
Every.Single.CVS store in their area to hunt down a deal, so even if your store is thought of as being a non-couponing, doesn’t mean the hounds didn’t hit yours!
The trial/travel bins are always well stocked, but the Clean and Clear bins were empty. Since it is an “official” deal insomuch as it is listed online–but nowhere else–I figure they won’t officially kill it but just remove the product til the sale is over. Most people won’t ask for a raincheck since it is only listed online and many will buy something else, so CVS isn’t really losing much. The DM in our area isn’t particularly customer focused, so I wouldn’t put it past her. Luckily, there is a great manager nearby who will write a raincheck based on online deals when other stores will not.
Printed ad actually states ANY, and only excludes clearance…nothing about the 1 oz.
There are shelf clearers, though, so that may be your store issue.
Most stores will pull the product from the shelves until the sale ends. There was a deal like this one time and I got there one morning to buy the product. I had the product in my hand and when I got to the register the lady was trying to find them. She told me she could not sell them to me. Yes I do believe that most stores will pull the product if corporate tells them too.
My friend works at CVS and she said Corp would never tell them to pull a product for a deal, unless its a recalled item. Some managers (even cashiers) get it in their head that something is wrong when low priced items trigger ECBs, and they will pull the product themselves. But they can get in big trouble, esp if there is a surprise DM visit.

I just went to get this deal at my local CVS and neither one of the 2 CVS stores I went to had them 🙁 I checked in both of the trail/travel sections in the stores…bummer 🙁
My nearest cvs was cleaned out. I dont know how people can clear them out since the deal is limited to one per card.

My CVS were completely out. I ended up buying 3 full size products for $7.29 each. I had a $5 off $15 CVS coupon and there were $1 prelude coupons so I ended up paying only $1.96 for each item after the $8 ecb. Great deal in my opinion since I needed makeup removers 😄. My CVS is always out of stock of items whenever there is a hot deal on anything so I expected not to find the travel size cleansers.

It worked for me! I’m in Michigan. At first I thought I wouldn’t able to do the deal since there were only 2 left and I didn’t feel like buying 1 full size product. I asked the cashier if they happened to have any more and she brought out a basket and said a lady came yesterday and bought 6 of them and then came back and returned them all. I am assuming she kept her ecbs (prolly used 2 cards) and got her money back……
Anyway, I picked up one of the returns since they all looked untouched and the $8 ecb printed. 🙂

Thanks for posting Collin! Both of my local CVS’s were sold out. I got my rainchecks though. The manager was very surprised when I told him that the ECB amount was $8 but he looked in the flyer and saw that I was right and didn’t question me anymore.

Why the cvs people don’t suggest you a rain check ?
I got 6 tonight and ECB’s printed both times. 3 for me and 3 for my friend on her card. i was excited and surprised they had several available.
