Wow, I got it just in time. I hope they get mailed soon!
would have loved that deal. Never seen one like that on here in 2 years!
bummmmmer!!!
Oh and it says participating papa john locations.. hope our local one is participating…
WOW!!! Such an awesome deal for those who got it!!
Hoping next time I can catch it!
ALL sold out!
Went through shop at home and got 22% off!!
Thanks so much – I was able to get the CFA one
Congrats to all who got it! Wow!
I was going to buy it when I noticed it was all sold out LOL.
I wonder how long did those deals last?
I wonder how people knew about it so quickly. The one that combined the 16 pizzas and 16 meals for 40 bucks was sold out ever since 2:01 pm est. Did they get a email from specials by restaurant dot com?
One word, Technology! People see a post or deal and send it to everyone, everywhere and before you know it, gone!
Dang, I need to make some technology advanced friends lol
On the phone with PAPA JOHNS Corporate right now and they claim they are not in business with Restaurants.com and that they won’t honor this deal.
Lol did you even buy one.
Well if that’s true. I feel better not scoring this smokin’ deal
Oh dear.. hope once they see the individual cards, they will accept those. Maybe they were thinking about the general restaurant.com vouchers.. I know papa johns is never a participating restaurant with those.
Read the fine print. Deal is actually handled by Partnership Paradise. Restaurants.com is the selling site only.
Awww Bummer!!!!! I missed it!
So this was a sham? How do we get our money back?
I can’t believed I miss it somehow! I open this site every hour…It would be an awesome deal for my daughter’s birthday since we are planning to serve pizza. Anyway congrats to those who got the deal and if anyone willing to trade some of their pizza coupons email me and will try to find coupons you would like to trade. juliebhecoupons@yahoo.com
Off to cry now…
Ahhhhh! Exactly! This is what I get for picking up my kids from school hahahahha
Lol!
I’ve never seen a deal like this for restaurant.com and I’ve been checking their site for years. Maybe something new they are trying but 16 pizzas or meals for $25 seems too good to be true.
Sure does!
I’ve been scammed so many times from restaurant.com that I wouldn’t touch nothing of theirs with a 10 foot pole.I hope you guys got lucky.
Jean, please tell me how. I received a $20 voucher to that website. I “purchased” 2 gift cards from them with that voucher. But have yet to use it. Should I have concerns?
I still have my $100 that I got for $10! from them years ago, but could not find any qualifying restaurants near by and I read about the many restrictions like no happy hour, alcohol, eat in only, etc. One of these days I may tackle it again or just sell it.
Thankfully I haven’t gotten scammed but they do suck! I got several certificates and the selection on restaurants it’s poor. I don’t recomend.
I feel the same way. I’ve only ever done it one time, with some discount code, so I paid $2 for a $15 or $20 voucher and then found out it there was a minimum of $50 purchase, it only covered food and not drinks… and basically I would have had to pick up the check for 6 people to even reach the minimum because the most expensive entree was only like $10… Maybe something I’ll try again when my family of 6 all eats like adults. Haha.
How exactly does restaurant.com work?
From what I recall you purchase vouchers to your local restaurant through them, but their list does not include many places I would actually go to.
And it’s honestly more like a coupon than a gift certificate. You have a minimum amount to spend that is over the amoint of what you’re buying. For instance, I can get a $10 “gift certificate” to a local yogurt store for $2…but I have to spend $20 to use it. That’s a lot of yogurt for a single girl’ 🙂
Yeah it doesn’t seem like a good program for me! Thanks for the replies! I’m all about saving money but having to spend more to even save to begin with doesn’t make sense lol
did anyone receive this yet? tomorrow is the last business day. just wondering!
No, I haven’t received mine yet. I came back to this post hoping someone would’ve commented that the coupons came for them 🙁
I got mine today. IMO they look counterfeit. I really don’t know if they will be accepted. They look and feel like business cards and say complimentary pizza on them. No barcode. I probably wasted $25.
I got mine today too and agree with previous poster that they don’t seem legit:( Hopefully this wasn’t a waste of $25.
I received mine today and called Papa Johns twice with no success. They gave me a corporate number to try. 888-275-7272
Super disappointed if this doesn’t work….
Has anyone had any luck redeeming the Papa Johns ones yet? I just received ours in the mail and agree, they look different and don’t have a bar code so I’m hoping that won’t be a problem. Also, for those that ordered the ChickFilA ones – have you gotten those yet? I ordered both but only received the Papa Johns ones.
I got them today. I went to pizza shop and manager told me that they don’t expect any cards like this fake one with no promo code on it. This is the first time I got scammed online, very disappointment !
UPDATE: I used one of the cards at our local Papa Johns yesterday with no problems. I just told them when I called in the order that I had a card and brought it in when I pickef it up. Easy peasey.
I used one tonight. I called the order in and told them I had a card for a free one topping large pizza. She asked me to bring the card in at pick up. They didn’t even question it which 100% surprised me. I totally expected them to reject it. Yay, one card down–15 to go.
Total SCAM!! I got the Chick Fila ones, tried to use them tonight, and the manager said they were fake. We were fortunate enough, he was very nice and still honored them…I think he felt bad for us 🙁
I would contact Restaurant.com and tell them. I haven’t received ours yet.
I used mine at Chick Fil A today. No problems. I handed over my coupon and she gave me a free meal. Don’t make a mountain out of a mole hill, and don’t sweat the small stuff. Just because they were a good deal doesn’t mean they are fake.
I would definitely say they are fake, and while it doesn’t harm you, using fake coupons/vouchers is harmful to a company, just like using fake counterfeit money… if you were the business owner and had counterfeit money or fake coupons and were not reimbursed, it would harm your company and you would not like it… Just because a team member slides it through (and Chick-fil-a is very courteous about that kind of thing), doesn’t mean they aren’t fake. If they did not come directly from CHick-fil-A corporate, they are not real… I work in marketing for Chick-fil-a and there are VERY specific guidelines for coupons, digital card offers, etc… that have to be approved through the company before an individual store can even print them to give to their guests. And when things seem to good to be true, they almost always are… $25 for 16 meals is BEYOND too good to be true and was not an approved marketing thing from Chick-fil-a. I would report it to restaurant.com, hopefully get your $25 back, and not try using anymore, because most Chick-fil-A locations are generous as it is…
How do you know, and have you seen one? They look exactly like many other Chick Fil A coupons I have used and I will continue to use them. See reply below from restaurants.com that they are legit. I have used restaurants.com before as well and have no reason to believe they would lie. After all the things we have gotten for free from this site, how is this that far fetched?
Chick-fil-A coupons are watermarked. The ones from restaurants.com are fraudulent – we received one today and denied it.
Well, they are fake. Restaurant.com says they are and are issuing full refunds. Don’t you feel dumb now?
I just tried to use mine and was told they are fake
Where did you try to use yours?
I am getting concerned! For 1- I have not received the Papa John cards yet, and 2- for all the people being told they are fake. This saddens me. I sent an email the “Specials” division of Restaurant.com addressing my concerns and hope I receive a reply soon. Will let everyone know what they say!
Thank you! I was going to contact them but I used one. So don’t feel like I really have an argument to make. However, I felt so uncomfortable using it. I felt guilty. There’s no way I will attempt to use the other 15. It was too stressful. They should not have made them so cheaply. They should have had unique barcodes. I just hope my credit card won’t be charged fraudently in the future. Look forward to hearing what they tell you.
We’ve used the Papa Johns cards twice so far without any issues.
I received their reply- I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused; but I would be happy to help you remedy this experience. We have been assured that the cards are not fraudulent and had no intentions to mislead our valued customers. As stated in the promotion, the cards are only accepted at participating locations, which does mean it is at the location’s discretion to validate. We work with third party merchants to promote their goods and products and Partnership Paradise is continuing to work with us through these issues.
So I will wait a little while longer and see if I get them and give them a shot. She says they have been assured they are not fraudulent, so I will give them the benefit of the doubt, and attempt to use them (if I get them!)….additionally she was very nice and was under the impression that if I decide to request a refund, one would be given, so the customer service dept seems pretty nice!
Actually, the Papa John’s cards say they are valid at all Papa John’s locations.
They responded quick! Thanks for letting us know! They must have had several complaints. And yes, the Papa John’s cards do say valid at all locations. I bet Restuarant.com will think twice before using Partnership Paradise again.
Would anyone who got a fake CHick-fil-a card mind posting a picture of it???
I don’t think anyone should post a picture. That would just allow others to actually make fake ones.
They are not fake! Here is a link to someone else who got them for another reason – https://pastormichaelspeaks.blogspot.com/2007/12/chick-fil-rocks.html
Here is another link talking about a very similar card: https://blog.stanleyleary.com/2013/09/learning-to-monetize-from-free.html
You owe me an apology for going on and on about how I was harming Chick Fil A and you work there…etc etc etc when you really have no idea what you are talking about.
Awesome. Thanks for posting the link!
Yes, they are fake.
From what I could gather from searching online, the Be Our Guest cards from Chick Fil A look legit to me. They’re usually given out at promotional events or by stores themselves to satisfy an unhappy customer. I guess I’ll find out when we give them a try this weekend.
As an employee of Chick-fil-A I can assure you that the coupons from this Restaurant.com deal were fraudulent. Chick-fil-A has a nationwide policy that they will never sell coupons or deals. I have seen some of these coupons come in to the location where I work, and they look very similar to Chick-fil-A coupons but they are not legit. Chick-fil-A is transitioning to digital offer cards to try and prevent situations like these from happening. I feel bad for all who purchased this deal. Is there anything that Restaurant.com can do to make the situation right?
We used one at Papa John’s in MD without any problems at all today.
Guys I’ve already found a PHOTO of the Chick-fil-a CORPORATE NOTICE to all stores explaining the Restaurant.com fraudulent card situation and how all customers may not be aware. Just because yours was accepted doesn’t mean anything. Yesterday i had no issues, and today they refused and finally explained to me that corporate has handed down the word that it is a scam. I was astonished.
I just tried to use my Chick-fil-a cards and I was immediately told that the cards are fraudulent. A manager just so happened to be standing near the cashier and very nicely told me that those cards have been floating around recently but they are not official Chick fil a cards and that their cards have a watermark. I was beyond embarrassed because it was lunch time and the restaurant was very crowded. I just sent an email requesting a full refund…..I will update once I get a reply 🙁
Thanks – I look forward to hearing what they have to say.
This is the response I just received:
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. We are happy to issue you a full refund for your purchase. Please allow 3-5 business days for the funds to post to your credit card. If you have any other questions or concerns, please email me so I may further assist you. Thank you again for being a valued customer!
I appreciate the apology and quick response. Guess I’ll toss the rest of my cards in the trash.
Just got a confirmation email regarding my refund:

We appreciate your patience as we sort through this issue.
Thank you,
Specials by Restaurant.com
All of the cards are fraudulent. I went to Papa John’s last week and I’ve never been so embarrassed. Papa Johns has issued a cease and desist order to Restaurants.com. All the cards were printed without authorization from from both companies. They gave me my free pizza this time but said they can’t in the future. This is awful that someone would do this to these two companies. I did get my refund in full by restaurants.com. I guess the saying “sounds too good to be true” works in this case.
Just recieved an email from Restaurant.com that they’re issuing full refunds because of poor customer experience. Keep a lookout for this email
Does anyone have the email for restaurants.com
Sorry, just now seeing this. It’s specials@restaurant.com.
I was just informed by my local chic-fil-a that the cards are fraudulent. I was not given a free meal. I’ve used 3 of the papa johns coupons without issue. This is the first I knew about the fraud and I felt so embarrassed. 🙁
Contact Restaurant.com and they will refund your money. Their email address is specials@restaurant.com.
My Papa Johns also refused mine. It was very frustrating and embarrassing. I ended up getting a full refund from restaurants.com.
