      Me too. Sad

I found pinecone on hip2save and signed up. I absolutely love it and the extra money it brings! Never had any problems and each survey has always been at least $3 for me! I’ve made around $80 in about 3 or 4 months πŸ™‚ definitely would recommend this site!

How do you do that? I do not see any dollar amounts to cash out. I joined a month ago and so far did one servey about a cream cheese and then some other general serveys about my shopping habits. I do not get many offers, but for what I did so far I do not feel I am being rewarded or maybe I just need to know where to find the supposed income?

      • Melissa

I want to know how you make money on this as well. All I see is the reward section where you can order merchandise. I have done maybe 8 surveys. I just have 800 points, not close enough to get anything as far as I can see.

        • momof3

Check in favorite rewards list I think its in. I always cash out 300 points for $3. Or email them and say you are having trouble finding it. They have always emailed me back and been very helpful

          • Melissa

Thanks. I found this in the faq section re: cash payout: Follow steps to redeem your rewards. Once logged into the reward site, under Departments List in the left column, click Featured Awards. Then select Cash Out option from the list. Click the Cash Option at the bottom of the list. Then select the quantity of $3 amounts you wish to redeem. If you are currently receiving PayPal payments, then you will be able to continue receiving PayPal payments with the Cash Option. Please note that if you request multiple cash payments, it will be combined and issued as one payment for your convenience (e.g. changing the quantity box from 1 to 2 for the $3 option will result in one payment of $6). Click on “add to cart” and click the “checkout option,” located on the top right corner, to complete your order.

        • Anna

          Melissa,
When you click redeem it should take you to the catalog home page. On the top right side right by the search button you can search by the amount of points you have. After you put in 0-800 points and click search a bunch of stuff comes up. So then you go to the left side and if you just want to get cash you can refine your search by clicking on “Cash Option” underneath “Featured Awards”. The $3 cash option comes up and you can put in the quantities that is needed in order to cash out. Click on “add to cart” and click the “checkout option,” located on the top right corner, to complete your order.

I hope that helps. I don’t have much points yet also but i’m planning on collecting them until I get a good amount to cash out.

I set my survey frequency to unlimited under the settings. All surveys are worth 300 points ($3). Keep in mind they do send out household surveys as well. These are not paid surveys they Are “screening” surveys to let them know what products you buy and what surveys to send you. This way you don’t get halfway thru a survey and “not qualify”. You can cash out by check the first time then they will send you an email that will let you set up to cash out via PayPal for the next time. The more surveys you do the more you will get. If you don’t do the surveys they send you- you will start getting less and less until you don’t get them at all (other people are saying this not my personal experience because I normally do all my surveys) I have received 3 products to try from surveys worth $3 and the follow up surveys about the products you used are worth an extra $3 as well. (Meaning that whole survey ended up being $6). I really love this company. You may not be getting as many surveys due to you not buying certain products that qualify you for the surveys. Just be honest about what you buy in the household surveys and they will send you what you qualify for! πŸ™‚

Cash out option is listed under featured rewards.

      • Niki

Check your account settings. There is an option in there for how often you want to receive survey. You can change it to unlimited.

      • April G.

Cash out option is listed under featured rewards. You do not receive payment for household questions (shopping habits). You are in a legal agreement to not discuss your surveys with anyone outside of your household (cream cheese).

        • Olga

          Thank you! Helpful information.

  3. Rose

I signed up from last time on hip2save and got in yay so far so good!

  4. Dawn

Do I need to lie to get in on this? I have applied at least 8 times over the last 2 years using my info and my hubby’s info and even tweaked our ages, but it never works. I think you have to be a different ethnicity now.

    • meg

I agree! Why don’t they just say we need this age or this area or whatever. Applied over and over again. Idk what it is they are looking for.

      • Ashley57

If they said what they were looking for, people would lie to get in. Just keep trying – I tried like four different times and then finally got in a few years ago.

        • meg

Not true. I belong to other research sites and many of them give the age and demo they are looking for.

    • Angela

It’s a shame people would lie to earn a few dollars taking surveys. This is a research company trying to obtain statistically valid information. If you lie about your demographics, it is not an exaggeration to say that you are compromising the validity of their data.

      • meg

She did not say she was going to lie….for petes sake.

        • Olga

          “tweeked ages”

          • Olga

            Tweaked*

I don’t see a point submitting fake information. From a personal perspective, if I had to fill out surveys about items or topics of no interest to me, I would quit. It’s almost like you would need to assume a different identity, not my idea of fun. Plus, I would think they would catch the inconsistencies in your replies.

    • Sue

I applied for the first time the last time Collin posted this and was picked. Just keep trying.

  5. momof3

I love the $3 cash option. Best survey site that I actually enjoy.

  6. Katie S.

Yay….finally after trying multiple times it let me register. πŸ™‚

  7. Becca

I joined about 2 months ago when it was featured on this site and I have had good luck so far. I get quite a few surveys and today, a package arrived on my doorstep from Pinecone to test a product. I had completed a survey and based on my answers they wanted me to actually try out the product and review it. I had no idea they did this and was super surprised when the package came! So far, I’m really liking Pinecone!

  8. Heather

No for me πŸ™ In the past, I was a member a for over a year and enjoyed taking the surveys, trying new products out, etc. I became very ill and was hospitalized for a month so of course I didn’t complete surveys while fighting for my life so Pinecone kicked me out. I’ve been trying to get back in since then, but I always get rejected.

    • Olga

πŸ™ They would not give you an option to slow down on the surveys until you’re better?

    • Barb

I had a time for a while where I couldn’t so surveys. I emailed them and explained. they did let me back in. I love Pinecone and have gotten many product samples over the past few years.

  9. linda

I only got to try a product right after I joined. That was a year or so ago. How can I get them to let me try some products again? Can anyone help me with some advice??? TIA

  10. sally
