Can you eat these cream cheese bars cold?
You could honestly eat these bars cold, hot from the oven, room temperature, while swinging on a trapeze, pretty much anytime. They are stupid delicious. We call it sopapilla cheesecake here and it is an incredibly popular potluck item. I usually make two in case one doesn’t quite make it in to work.
I made this recipe and a chocolate flan cake for a Cinco De Mayo pot luck at work and this recipe disappeared and everybody wanted more (the chocolate flan cake was good too but this dish was easier and stole the show) and my daughter and husband loved them too. And yes, they’re good cold and warm…I like them in a house…I like them with a mouse….I like them here or there…I like them anywhere. 🙂
