Is there a limit of how many Cartons you can get?!

    • Gina

Just got back from trying to get a couple dozen,, someone beat me to them, she took them ALL! no less the 20 packs, SMH,

      • e

She may have tons and tons of kids. We have 12. So, we eat a dozen or so each breakfast that includes eggs. Target really should have had more than 20 or so cartons though, that’s kinda odd. Did you ask if they had more in the back?

        • Erin

How common is having that many children?

          • e

I know a lot of families, but then again, maybe just because I have that many.

            • e

I mean, even if you had 3 teenage boys eating 3 eggs a piece and parents eating two each…that’s almost a dozen. And 3 kids is pretty common.

            • e

Ignore my typo though! :O haha

      • Emily

WOW, we went at 2pm and I was expecting to not find any left but our target had an entire end cap filled with eggs. There was half of the end cap left when we got our 4 dozen.

      • Lana

Boo to shelf clearers! I had a man take 55 bags of jelly beans last week while I was waiting my turn to get two.

    • mel

No, no limit (unless the stores themselves put a sign up). Cartwheel though is a limit of 4 per transaction. But you can have your barcode scanned up to 6 times a day, for savings on up to 24 items. I bought 8 myself, 4 in my transaction with the $10 GC wyb $50 in food/beverages coupon and 4 in another transaction by themselves. Our Target had a ton of eggs, one of the box cases had nothing but eggs on both sides, plus 2 shelves full where the rest of the eggs & butter are located.

My Target ad says eggs are $1.50, not $.99….I wonder why.

    • Kimberly Ann Stevens

you are likely in CA, their prices are higher due to prop 2

    • Heather C

Me too! And I’m in CA. I used Cartwheel & my red card. Oh well
      😕, still a great price!

      • Lisa

Bummer I was hoping to get it at 99 cents.

Offer valid in store only, unless explicitly noted otherwise. Limit no more than one manufacturer coupon, one Target coupon and one Cartwheel offer can be combined per item. Scan all other coupons before scanning your Cartwheel barcode in store. Each Cartwheel offer may be used for up to a maximum of 4 qualifying items per offer per transaction, unless otherwise noted. Limit of 1 Cartwheel barcode per transaction and 6 Cartwheel barcode transactions per day. Void if copied, scanned, altered, transferred, purchased, sold, or prohibited by law. Item(s) may not be available at all stores. Not valid in Canada. Offer value may not exceed value of item purchased. No cash value.

My Target in central CA has them for $1.49, still a good price considering a dozen is usually in the $2.75 range.

    • Pinki

I’m in Northern California and my sales ad says that the eggs are $1.49.

      • Kevin

$1.49 for so cal too 🙁

    • ali

Yep 1.49 for Cali stores I guess since we have stricter laws now on eggs. Hopefully that means its also safer eggs for the higher prices we now pay.

      • Jen

$1.49 here too. I remember voting for the prop for more humane chicken practices and I believe it took effect this year.

  5. sonia

I remember from last year, near time for Easter, target did offer 50 cents a dozen egg after used the mobile coupon!

  6. Marlene

We went when they opened. No one else there. We bought 6 dozen.

  7. Queenjen87

Ibotta offer for .50 back 🙂

    • Janet

Ibotta is only for walmart and Kroger on mine.

      • v

Costco, Kroger, and Walmart for me. I thought I had seen it for Target and that they dropped it??

  8. Tracey K

I got some yesterday. The stockers were telling everyone who passed that because they got so many they were starting the sale a day early. They had the usual egg section full, plus three entire coolers on the ends of the aisles were full, and they still had a bunch of pallets of eggs and nowhere to put them. They were trying to figure out what could be moved to accommodate more eggs lol.

  9. Stephanie

I figured Target would run out of eggs quick and I knew they’d be on sale this week, so I went a couple days ago and bought all the eggs I wanted at the regular price and I’m going to go have my receipt adjusted to the sale price today.

  10. Jackie

Checkout 51 has $.75 back for hidden ranch purchase – my target had them on clearance for $.74, once I redeemed it unlocked an egg offer! 🙂

    • shopper

How long did it take for eggs to unlock? Already claimed the Ranch packet, and eggs still show locked.

      • Jackie

        About 3 hours

        • shopper

          Thanks. Mine just came through.

  11. sherry

    • juliana

  14. C

    $1.49 in Gilroy, CA

  15. Michelle

Eggs in Hawaii are on “sale” at Target for higher than the normal price…they want $3.29 per dozen!! Ridiculous! 🙁

  16. Nel

Hungry jack has browns (in cartons by instant potatoes) are $1.24 with peelies for free eggs w/purchase. I picked them up to donate to a food shelf and got my eggs free. 😄
