I’m a big fan of Amazon…but am I the only person who feels like they’re trying to take over the world right now?! Every week they roll out some new thing that brings them MORE into our lives!
I felt the same way! We have Alexa at our house and it is kinda creepy how they have everything we have said to the machine recorded (we can see the log of what we have said). When I saw this I was like wow, one more place in which Amazon is getting involved!

It’s part of Bezos’ master plan. He also bought the Washington Post to control media as well.

Maybe I am not getting this concept but it is not for me. Do they screen the people they use for these services or check backgrounds? I love Amazon but between Drones and this, sorry it is just to much!

My thoughts exactly! How well can you screen someone for something like this? Kind of like Craigslist…I don’t think I would EVER use that considering all of the problems lately. I would never want someone at my home that I knew nothing about…I prefer local referrals that have worked for people that I know before…there still is the possibility of a problem but less so.
I’m commenting from the other end of the spectrum here. As a business owner, being accepted into this program is very difficult and there were many letters to dot and cross. We are trying it out as another potential marketing source. I will say the percentage that Amazon will take from our services is pretty steep. The pros still outweighed that con for us…..at least right this moment. We are in the tech business in a very large, underserved market so time will tell if this program is actually worth it for both the business owner and consumer.
You may be better served from a marketing professional. Taking a cut on your fees for advertising with a coupon site really undercuts your worth and image in the long run.
