Where would one buy ground duck?? I’ve never heard of it.. lol

  2. Terry

Really? Duck? We Oregonians are a bit sensitive to this…..:)

    • G

Duck is delicious. We go duck hunting every year. It tastes like lean chicken.

      • v

a friend of mine told me the exquackly sam thing.

        • v

help…my printer doesn’t work well on printer the form, the characters are not visible but the bar code is okay, tried several times but still not working, can anybody tell me what’s on the rebate form?

What contents and what is the address that I should mail?

      • Colleen

Collin ( Mrs. Hip), hello. I am very new to this with an iPad. My coupon printed out with only part of the wording. I have the mailing address but no instructions. I also see massive confusion in most of the comments here so could you please clarify things? 1). What do I buy – any 3 Hamburger Helpers? & do I buy one pound of ground chuck or do I buy $8.06 worth of ground chuck? 2). Does it all have to be in one transaction from the same store? 3). What do I have to send in? UPCs from Helper? From ground chuck? Cash register receipt? Or all of those? 4.) What is the date it has to be purchased by? 5). What is the date it has to be sent in by? And anything I have missed pleased. Thank you!

  4. v

I like that this isn’t specific to just Walmart this time.

    • v

sometimes the Farm Fresh near me has the Ham Helper at $1 per box. Can manu coupons be used with this deal for the Ham Helper part?

      • G

        Yes

        • v

          thanks

Dollar General weekly ad: Hamburger Helper only $0.90 this week. Wal-Mart price matches or savings catcher will pay you the difference if the ad is valid in your area.

  5. G

Hamburger helper will be $0.90 this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at Dollar General.

Question: the rebate says 1 lb ground beef, up to $8.06 value. In the post you say to buy enough ground beef to = $8.06…. what if my ground beef is $3.99 per pound? Based on your logic I should buy 2 lbs, however, the rebate says it is on 1 lb. So which is it? Well they rebate me the price of 1 lb or the whole $8.06?

    • sam

you have to buy at least $8.06 worth of ground beef. doesn’t matter the price per pound

      • sam

sorry up to $8.06. you buy $3 you get $3

        • G

Yup…. still confused…. your comments conflicted each other….

          • sam

1 pound up to $8.06. sorry last year it was up to $8.06 no matter how many pounds. this year looks like you buy 1 pound and get the price back for that pound. If you buy more your only going to get back what a pound costs.

      • annie

help…my printer doesn’t work well on printer the form, the characters are not visible but the bar code is okay, tried several times but still not working, can anybody tell me what’s on the rebate form?

What contents and what is the address that I should mail?

    • Cassandra

G, I think it means it will only cover UP to $8.06/lb. As long as you buy ONE pound of ground beef and it’s less than $8, they’ll send you back the cost of the meat. Last year we bought some of the leaner stuff (it was like 6 something per pound) and we got back the total. If it is $3.99/lb, I believe they will only pay for the $3.99.

But I just bought a pre-packaged one-pounder to ensure I got the rebate back. HTH!

  8. AJ

Has anybody NOT gotten their rebate from last year?

    • 78Brownie

I didn’t. I may still try this since I’m likely to donate the Helper. I’m the only one in the house who eats it.

      • Alisa

I’m the only one who eats it at my house too! Lol. My kids say they ate a enough of it during their early school years. I love some Chili Macaroni Hamburger Helper and Creamy Broccoli Tuna Helper.

    • Chantel Chapman

I didn’t get mine. They mailed my form back to me with no receipt and only 1 upc. The letter that came with it said to resubmit with ALL the upcs and receipt. How was I supposed yo do that when I had sent them all and only received a single upc and form back? I personally wouldn’t do this again because we don’t eat it. The only reason I did it before was because my commissary had the chicken helper bolds on clearance for $.60 and I had a $1/3 coupon.

  9. Sharon

You only get the purchase price of 1 pound of the ground beef, even if you buy 5 pounds, right? My coupon printed kind of blurry, but I think that’s what it says?

  10. v

I’ve seen some extremely high prices for ground beef at stores that have a “butcher dept”. Nice fresh color to the meat…just a bit pricey. Not sure if close to the $8.06 max for the rebate….but too much for my pockets.

  11. Elizabeth Faulk Johnson

Last time I didn’t get my rebate because I did not purchase the hamburger helper and the ground beef in the same transaction. Be sure to buy them together. It did not say that on the rebate, so as you can imagine I was disappointed.

  13. Rachel

So can you get more than 1 lb or only 1 lb total?

  14. Crys Jo

There are peelies on the Hamburger Helper at my Walmart – Save $1 on ground beef WYB 3 boxes of Hamburger Helper.

  15. Laura

I got the rebate last year. I am pretty sure by the time frame they said. I think last time you could do it twice per house hold. Not sure what this one allows. They had good coupons around same time last year too for the helper.

  16. Terry Carr

I tried twice and could not get the rebate form to print..any help please?

    • Unknown

If you want to send me a self addressed stamped envelope i will print 1 for you and mail it.

      • terrycarr

That’s very kind of you, thanks 🙂 can you PM me your name/address? I’m heading out right now and check a little later, ok? Thanks so much.

        • annie

I printed out three forms (2 computers), but none of the address and instructions are clear enough to read, so I don’t know the address I need to mail to!

Can anybody give me the address that I need to mail to?

the Barcode on the bottom is clear, I think it’s just because the instructions was in grey color or other color that my printer didn’t work well

I think the rebate form still good, I would like to mail anyone the rebate form for free if anyone would tell me the address on the form…..

          thanks!

  17. Janice Constantine

They are INTENTIONALLY pulling this crap. There are hardly any stores that have ground beef in a 1-pound pack that EXACTLY COMES TO ONE POUND on the label. Plus, you have to mail the BAR CODE FOR THE BEEF, so that’s where they get you! If it says “ground sirloin” “lean ground beef” “anything other than what they said “GROUND BEEF OR GROUND CHUCK”, you haven’t obeyed the rebate rules! And how are they going to KNOW if it’s exactly one pound? I just looked at the last two purchases in two stores, it says “grnd beef fam pk” and the price, not PER POUND! I suspect the SMALL PACKS don’t say “per pound!” they just say how MUCH THE PACK OF MEAT COST YOU altogether on the label! Never does it say “grnd bf 3.99 lb” then “4.02 on the receipt! It will ONLY DESCRIBE the meat type and give the FULL PRICE YOU PAID. If you get the little ground beef chub (the CHEAP CRAP THEY ARE HOPING YOU WILL GET), it MAY say “one pound chub.” But they are doing this for ATTENTION, like they know 8.06 will get attention, when in fact they’re only giving at most 4.59???? That’s the cost of the Helpers!!!! THIS IS WHAT YOU’RE REALLY GOING TO GET: “BUY ONE OVERPRICED LITTLE POUND OF GROUND CHUCK ONLY, NO BETTER CUTS, AND HAVE THE BUTCHER PACK IT SPECIAL FOR YOU AT EXACTLY ONE POUND WHICH WILL BE ABOUT 4.59 AT THE BEST SUPERMARKET IN TOWN, THEN WE WILL GIVE YOU THREE FREE HELPERS IF YOU PAY FOR THAT MEAT.” Or “BUY THREE HELPERS AT FULL REGULAR PRICE, NOT COMBINABLE WITH OTHER OFFERS LIKE COUPONS OR BOGOS LIKE THE REBATE SAYS YOU CAN’T, AND WE’LL GIVE YOU ONE POUND OF GROUND CHUCK.” Who needs THAT??? Look: on a BOGO with coupons, I get Helpers for less than 50 cents, and unless I’m willing to now pay TWO BUCKS EACH for the Helpers, that same store I MUST ALSO buy the ground beef at is NO WAY GOING TO CHARGE EVEN 4.59 POUND, MORE LIKE 3.99. THIS IS NOOOOOOO DEAL.

  18. Marie

This coupon never prints out visible. There is nothing wrong with all other coupons I print. No one has let me know what the address is and I am beginning to think it is just a false promotion to get consumers to purchase the product.

    • annie

I even called the number 1-800-837-8804 for the mailing address, but ddin’t work either. they first told me the rebate was end in 2014, then said cannot find any rebate in 2015, then let me waited for 20 mins and told me basically they cannot help and don’t know the thing I am talking about. Total cost me almost 45 mins.

I gave up, the ground beef is like 5 dollars in total, and I spent whole 45 mins on it!
