I was also told by a shift manager that it was only one coupon per ticket so my husband and I had to pay our bill separately.

PLEASE remember to tip your servers. My husband is a server at Olive Garden, they make $2.13/hour and depend on tips to pay their bills.

      Just curious.what state is this?

      • S

That’s the wages here in Indiana. I’m not sure if that is where she’s from.

      • J

Almost every state. There are a couple that pay higher. Most pay $2.13.

      • Lisa

We always tip our servers well at least 15% but most of the time its 20% or more. They work their butts off.

I’m in KY. They tax that $2.13/hour so his paychecks are literally less than $5/week. We also used to get great insurance through OG, but because of the new health insurance laws, they no longer let most employees work over 30 hours per week so they don’t have to offer them insurance. Just throwing that out there 🙂

wow! That’s like a third world country. Minimum wage here is $9.xx

I did this with my husband (in SW Ohio) last week. We told our server about the coupons and she said she could take both coupons and do one check. We had a nice lunch and tipped her well afterwards.
